Title: having some trouble getting into the game.

I'm having some trouble getting into df, i'm focusing more on the adventure mode and i'd love to have someone to talk to when i'm in trouble with something/want to share stories with, not sure if this is the right forum but would anyone be interested in helping a noob out?

Yeah, this is good place - there is also a discord server if you're into that - https://discord.gg/CvAEMWx (I'm not into that so I don't really know if it's any good.)

i know about the wiki already, thanks for the discord link tho, i'l check it out later, gotta do some homework.

The people on Discord are pretty good about answering questions. Otherwise, I got into DF by playing at the same time as friends and sharing what was going on in chats/over voice.

Youtube adventure mode tutorials might be useful too. Kruggsmash and Nookrium are good.
