On several occasions I've encountered in Legends Mode and Legends Viewer dwarven cults who worship forgotten beasts. Some were dead when I stopped WorldGen, others were still alive.
Now my question:
Did anyone experience the case that among your dwarves some of them were part of such cult/sect AND that some time into Fort Mode said god/forgotten beast did appear? And even was slain?
The reason for asking:
Will this (or could this) cause bad moods or other reactions for killing your own god? I doubt that the cult/sect will depart, as this whole feature is kinda new (maybe such things will happen in future interations of DF), but will (or could) this scenario lead to consequences at all?

Worship of tangible entities has been possible for a while. Never managed it in fortress mode, but once as an adventurer I killed a bronze collossus worshipped by my companion. I think she reacted with indifference. Even when I gave her the corpse.

I've definitely caught megabeasts who were worshiped by citizens (or at least residents), with no visible effects in previous versions.

One dude in my fort worshipped a 4-year old donkey, once.

Keep in mind most dwarves just worship megabeasts out of fear to begin with, so it makes sense that they wouldn't necessarily lose sleep over the death of their "god".

"It was inevitable"

1. Get people to worship a bronze colossus
2. Kill same colossus
3. Make shrine to colossus out of its corpse-statue
4. ? ? ?
