Units Flashing 'K' and 'R' - what does this mean? Many thanks

If you're paused on embark, it could be animals in the same square...

No idea otherwise. Flashing, as in flashing on the map? Like flashing between dwarf face and K or R?

I think I worked it out, it was the hunter carrying dead animals?

When a creature is carrying an item, its map icon will flash between the creature and the item. Corpses are represented by the character used for that creature, but with a dark red background.
