Core Rules
Introduction
Units are inspired by or taken from other grid-based games. You can suggest additions and if I am reasonably familiar with it, then it will be added to the list of games.
Rules
If one player is considerably slower than the others, they may be removed or replaced so the others can play at a reasonable pace.
Details will be sent to you by pm. Post your actions in a spoiler. DO NOT LOOK at anyone else's spoiler.
You can't automate your turn in reference to someone else's.
Unit balance will focus on being faithful but fitting the scale and simplified gameplay of this game. Join to receive a random unit.
There is no promise this will be a fair fight. First to 5 points wins!
Order of Play
Turn Order:
Melee Phase
Move Phase
Ranged Phase
Highest Initiative Goes first.
Mechanics
Ranged attacks aim at the target unit's current location, unless you declare somewhere else.
Goal
Elimination/King of the Hill
You win when either:
All opponents are destroyed/surrender
You obtain 5 points
If two or more players get to 5 points at the same time, the game will go into overtime (unless they ally)
The Grid
The Grid points are represented by '◇' though you can refer to each point by the following:
A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6
B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 B6
C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6
D1 D2 D3 D4 D5 D6
E1 E2 E3 E4 E5 E6
F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6
Noteworthy grid-games I can't use as easily for some reason.
(No units)
Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4, Tetris, Dot Game, Hop Scotch, Maze, 4 square, Reversi, Othello, Sudoku, Scrabble, Crossword Puzzle
DM note: This copy has phase renames. Considered Changes: Greatest movement goes first, initiative is a secondary to break ties.
Waitlist
Players that earned points from kills (+2 ea) or ending a turn in the goal zone (+1 ea) can spend them to nullify games from the list when rolling their character.
- Secretdorf
- ArchimedesWojak (5 point)

Move to the snake's food.
retcon the snake into being undead, and jump to the side and cast that healing spell I can't be bothered to check the name of on it
Move to C3. Declare troubadour a "King".
attempt to devour the knight
Move towards the others but stay out of attack distance
Move towards King Troubadour (& Knight) but stay Two Tiles Away
disembark on C3, then move and land on E4
"I do indeed, my liege, soon this snake-beast shall be no more"

It would be great if we can get more players for Game 3 to test it out, otherwise might feel kind of empty.
