Title: getting rid of feather tree egg yolk?

A known bug: elven caravans drop "feather tree egg yolk" into your trade depot. From what I read, it's probably because the game doesn't have a model for eggs yet that includes shells, so the yolk just splashes on the ground as soon as the game checks it. Either way, it piles up there and it clutters the trade screen.

So, question: can I safely change the raws to mod this stuff out of the game?

...I just trade it back to them. Not noticed it remaining there when the humans come through.

somehow my dwarves managed to put some of it in a few barrels and they were actually quite valuable

i have no idea how they managed it though

Should be fine to mod out of the game - as far as I know. I think eggs are eaten whole, basically - regardless of yolk or even size. You could probably remove all yolks and be fine.
