Title: Dwarves trapped in cages!
Post by: icefyre on October 03, 2022, 07:15:01 pm
Hello,

I have two dwarves who were knocked unconscious during a cave-in near some of my cage traps. The dwarves were trapped in the cages and taken to a stockpile and have been looking at me pathetically since then. I can't figure out how to let them out of the cage. I've tried removing the stockpile, melting the cage, using a lever, nothing seems to work. Anyone know how I can let them out of their cages?

Thanks!

You might have to build the cage somewhere before linking it to a lever would work, I don't think you can link levers to cages in stockpiles.  Also, bringing the cage to the trade depot should release them since Dwarves are not tradeable.  A more Dwarvenly method to try would be to load the cage into a minecart, and then crash it into another minecart to launch the cage, and simultaneously release its occupants.
