I followed exactly the instructions for quantum stockpiles (https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Quantum_stockpile), but dwarves never put items into the carts.
Per instructions, there is no depart condition.
When do a create a depart condition to "always" dwarves constantly come by dumping the empty cart.
I have multiple dwarves with their only enabled labor push/haul cart.
All of them just sit with "No Job" forever (unless I set the depart condition to always).
I have several dwarves with only all hauling labors enabled, and they do fill the feeder, just never the cart.
Stockpiles are setup correctly. The quantum stockpile was created to take from links only, the cart stop only takes from the feeder, all stockpiles have bins/barrels disabled.
Yet my metal bar, ore, stone, and wood setups just sit idle with a full feeder.
Again, I followed the instructions on https://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Quantum_stockpile explicitly and in order.
I've made working quantums before in modded games, but this time I'm playing an unmodded vanilla game.
Are there new gotchas in 0.47? Last time I played DF was about two years ago.
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

If the minecart is being dumped, that means the cart and track are good.
Check the Stop's settings (on the 'h'auling screen); 'Enter' to ensure you selected the item types you want, and arrow keys then 's' to add stockpiles.
And from the main DF screen, look under 'o' in case you accidentally turn off hauling for some item types.

sounds like the conditions for pushing the cart aren't met.
they include fullness, and some amount of time.

no, they will come and push the empty cart if i set an "immediate" condition.
the problem is they never put anything in it to begin with.
all the stocks are set the same.

I've had that happen to me recently, but it ended up just being the allowed items in the hauling route track stop settings that were off.
