Title: Building placement QoL: Building materials made to order

I'm thinking basically, when you go to place, for example, a bed, but no bed has been made a Carpenter yet, instead of the game telling you just "no", would it be possible to instead get a menu to set up a work order to have a bed made for that specific building project?
Or, you know, doors for doors, grates for grates, floodgates for floodgates, mechanisms for traction benches and levers...
