In classic, I could type "Iron Sword" to easily find "Iron Short Sword" in the manager screen, or type "Bin Wood" for Construct Wooden Bin. Combinations of any word would always bring up the object I was looking for.
However, in this version it doesn't let us do that. If I type "Iron Sword" nothing appears. We have to type the item almost exactly as it is to find it and for it to appear in the list--No combination of words seem to work and it now takes more iterations to look for the items I am looking for.
Also I noticed that we now have to take an extra step and actually click the search's text field when we want to type. Normally it would allow us to be able to enter text right away if a search text field was present on screen.
Will these be fixed eventually in the Steam version?

Oh yes. This definitely.
"Bin Wood" is how I always used to type it. It's faster to scroll the list with the mouse, but still. Missing this.
