Title: My marksdwarves are not equipping ammo in the Steam version

I've created a custom uniform that only has "any crossbow" assigned as weapon, and assigned this to a squad. They equip their crossbows, their quivers, but then refuse to equip any ammunition. I've also noticed that the ammo management screen has vanished in the Steam version, so maybe that's the cause?

Anyway, anyone having the same problem? Anyone managed to solve it? Or am I just dumb? :'(

Make your custom uniform then delete the squad. When you make a new squad, you'll be able to choose the new custom uniform and dwarves will pick up bolts.

Apparently if you set the weapon as a melee weapon, wait for the to go pick it up, then change the uniform to a crossbow, that works too and they'll go pick up bolts for it. Just needs something to kick-start the process apparently.
