Recently, it has been brought to my attention that Performers show up naked to fortresses.
In order to profit from this provide a needed service, I propose a new Location: The Clothing Shop, where we can sell performers clothing.
If they lack funds, maybe in-kind trade could be arranged.
...it also suddenly makes sense why they are so eager to join my fortress.

That seems like a silly way to treat what is a bug / unimplemented feature. :p
Performers should probably just come wearing clothes appropriate to whatever civilization they were part of before running off to join the circus.
But being able to set up shops in your tavern to profit off of visitors would be nice. Less of a bulk trade with merchants and more of a passive income from selling individual goods.

the workshop is still there, the proposial is something which outsiders could buy from.
