I finally decided to give Adventurer Mode a try.
I am confused, which game versions have it at all - for example I read that it was disabled in 50.04.
So my question is - Which game version is the recommended one for the best Adventurer Mode experience ?
The PeridexisErrant's Starter Pack is the latest Pack apparently - and it's for 0.47.05
Is there a newer game version which has much better gameplay for AM ?
like mouse support - and does mouse support even make sense for AM ?
And if the answer is to use that starter pack - is there a guide to optimize it for AM ? like disabling all unneeded tools etc.
Thanks for your time

Last version with Adventure mode was 47.05.
Complex graphical packs will crash it regularly. So go for something more simple that doesn't use TWBT.
Will likely be several months before graphical Adventurer is complete for the latest version of the game, so you've lots of of time to have fun.
Probably no mouse support from DfHack? I'm not sure what you'd need it for.

Also that pack has an a version of DFHack that has a launcher that covers important text in Adventurer mode - disable it with "disable overlay" in the DFHack console or just don't bother with a pack and just use the vanilla game.

There's also the Adventure mode from old version of DF 34.11 , it didn't had the same content but had an AI that reacted very differently, and a faction system that felt more like factions instead of "everyone is neutral somehow". There was also a quest system that do not exist anymore through dialogues with npc.
Personnally i prefer it over the current (47.05 i mean) version and still think it's very worth playing.
There's also a PeridexisErrant's Starter Pack for it that's quite well made.

Thanks for all the advice - it will def help

could you name one from the starter pack ?
I'm a bit lost to find out which ones don't need it.
And which Print Mode should i use then ?

disable it with "disable overlay" in the DFHack console
can i somehow automize that ? maybe in some inifile . . .
I don't like the idea of having to do it on every gamestart.
because - I'd like to keep the starter pack for the graphics-setup and i also want to try the Adventurer's Journal tool.

Yes, I think r7 uses the same init file setup as r8 detailed here https://docs.dfhack.org/en/0.47.05-r8/docs/Core.html#init-files
