Title: Throwing things is still just as ridiculous in the new v

Actually, that reminds me of a slightly tangential problem... it's no longer possible to just press g repeatedly to pick up stuff from the ground, even when there's only one thing to pick up! Annoying as heck, and not a lot of reason or gain behind it as far as I can tell.

For example, the trinkets in a ruin building - since there's nothing on the floor, they get picked up immediately. I also managed to mangle the chest and pierce the liver of a zombie axe lord with a swarm of live flies. Though I must say a superior iron pike makes a better hole when thrown. :)
