Title: Can you change what certain rock layers are made of?
Post by: aradar on September 09, 2023, 01:01:15 pm
Are all stone and metal ore boulders you find while mining hard coded or can you change them

Example:change sand stone to newstonex and then find it mining?

Or add more minable Boulder types ?

No stone/ore is hardcoded, so yes to all questions. See http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Material_definition_token .

Made me thinking: can you get a mineral thats found in ice layers? it can lead to interesting polar expeditions.

I wanted to add hazardous ore that kills or maims the miner 😁
