Welcome to the Merchant's Guild!
I am Taarka, the raven woman merchant.
Here you can set up shop and trade items. The people you trade with do not have to be a part of this guild.
In order to join, please state your first name and last name(if you have any), the shop(and its contents) you're setting up, and other details you wish to tell.

I will sell food I cooked myself, southern treats mainly various rodents and giant insects on a stick.

If food gives power ups at some point, I imagine mine would help adventurers survive 1 leathal hit on their next adventure, but after that be unable to join the next expidition available as they have a stomach ache.

People from the South would be immune to the negative effect, but are compelled to tip more raising the cost for them.

This is Mysterious Stranger, Guildmaster of the Idle guild, Inquiring as to what currency you think we should be using, Gold Copper and Silvers? something more specific? or something less specific?

(since this guild isn't getting much activity, should I just have npcs trade with the merchants? Also I need to know the pricing of the items, Roseheart)

(the guild isn't getting activity because no one (except the adventurers, apparently) has any money. We should grant every new joining player 10 coins, so they can buy treats and equipment.)

(Which is why I'm considering adding in npcs to trade with merchants, as it would make another source of income)

Since this guild isn't getting much activity, and we're not getting much money, I've decided to let travelers trade with us.
Oh, look! Here's one of them!

The purple martin person stares at one of the treats in Blacktooth Ripclaw's stand. You can tell that they are a cleric.

Two customers arrived at Blacktooth Ripclaw's shop! One of them is a human and the other is a red cardinal man.
The human is lined up first.
"I would like to buy this treat. But I do not have any coins so I want to trade you my iron ingot"

"Apologies, it appears the Tavernkeeping Yarang is closed, at least temporarily. I wont be able to prepare food until things are cleared up."

The guild revolving around cooking is inactive, so I probably shouldn't be selling food right now. Perhaps you can encourage the Smithing and Alchemy guild members to sell their products here after they craft them.

Edit: Actually you could have sales take place in the main thread, with them selling there and you (and your members) being NPCs, like you were doing here. You could also sell items for players to buy with gold. Ones not available from the other guilds...
