Title: Idea for further simplification of stair creation

I propose that, instead of a division in the interface between mined stairs and constructed stairs, you have just one designation: stairs.

If you're concerned about adding another menu, you could do the same thing with ramps and floors. If the tile has to be carved, carve it; if it has to be constructed, construct it. Then you can replace the entire "dig" menu with a "walkable surface" menu that offers all the same things it used to, except with added simplicity and power.

That would also allow you to remove ramps and stairs from the Constructions menu, since I can't think of a reason they'd need to be there anymore. The floor item in the Constructions menu would have to stay, since designating a floor from the new Walkable Surface menu over an already-walkable surface should do nothing, but it should still be possible to build a constructed floor over a natural or mined floor.
