Title: Fast walking (running) exploit
Post by: ravensword227 on November 03, 2007, 04:27:00 pm
In Adventure mode hold S, SW *or* S, SE at the same time.  I'm moving at least twice as fast!  For some reason you have to be moving south to do it.    :(

Unless it somehow skips the turns of other creatures while you're doing this, it isn't really an exploit so much as a way to get somewhere faster in real time.  It most likely works because of the way each keypress gets sent to the game, which would say "send a repeated keypress after x seconds" where x is some length of time.  Normally holding down one key would result in "1, wait, 1, wait, 1, wait..." whereas holding two keys results in "1, 2, 1, 2...".

It is useless now that the game lags so much.
It was much more useful in the old version.

Yeah, this is not an exploit at all.

Dosnt actualy make you walk faster it just looks like it. Very usefull for long boring hikes trying to find a cave.
