Title: Evil and Savage
Post by: Wiles on February 29, 2008, 09:42:00 am
I've seen people post that you can't use the tokens EVIL and SAVAGE together.

Is this true?

I see in the raws that unicorns have BENIGN and GOOD. I don't see why an evil creature couldn't have EVIL and SAVAGE.

toady mentioned in a recent bug report that EVIL, SAVAGE, and GOOD are mutualy exclusive. BENIGN doesnt limit what biomes you appear in, those with it appear in all biomes. the other 3 do limit

Savage to frightening,
Evil to haunted,
For the most part.
The two dont happen together.

Savage creatures have a population limit of 1 or 2, sometimes 3, Evil creatures do not inherently get this limit from the Evil tag.

Also Benign is not a Biome Sub-Type.

savage creatures are not limited, large predators are.

i have herbivores that are savage only, and they swarm on just as often and in the same numbers as similar frequency benign critters, they just only appear on savage maps
