Could anyone explain how these work? The wiki is outdated.

A lot of the body info on the wiki is still good. Is there something specific you need help with?

The second part of the sting on bodyparts. Such as [BP:UB:upper body]

That's the parts' internal name. So, if you see something like [CON:UB] it's referring to that. It's like [CREATURE:BLARPG] - it's not its real name, but what DF uses to refer to it internally.
