Prelude...
Expedition to Shladlodis.
So we've finaly done it the elders finaly gave in, Me and my sister 'Drobobribis' gathered five other willing kobolts, left the cave with the legendary smelters within it and set out into the world. Me and Drob have a dream you see... us kobolts no longer confined within the dark and damp caves but able to settle and survive up on the surface. The elders thought we're crazy but we'll show them!

The cart that the elders entrusted us with has finaly broken down, We've traveled quite a distance with it but now its finaly spent. It broke down next to a deep river. I think I can see a river fork up ahead.
I sepose this place is as good as any...
I've ordered the Cart to be dismanteled for wood, Our gatherer to start looking for some eadible plants and our chopper to start bringing down some trees to built some huts with... Me... I took my trusted bow and set out to see if there is any meat to be found. In the meanwhile Drob will try and make some new arrows... and oversee the construction of a butchery site...
In the water I see shadows move, I'm worried about what lurks beneath.

When I returned with a fresh Groundhog I saw that the butcherysite had been completed and that Drob has started to prepare some new arrows, Good thing to! I'd run out soon.
Our woodcutter 'Brafa' told me he saw a pike in the water... I fear for the worst.

I returned once more with a fresh kill only to receive horrible news... One of my kobolts get mauled by a huge fish when he tried to take a drink from the water! It took a good chunk out of his head. Altough it doesnt look good the kobold that got mauled seems to be ok.
We'll need a safe drinking spot. For now I pointed out a small pond that seems fish free to be used for drinking water. But that is only a temporary measure. I've ordered the mauled kobold to start digging a bassin near the river. And the carpenter to make a wooden grate to shield the bassin off from these nasty fish...

It looks like all the groundhogs have been butchered.... oh well, with the plants we got and the meat we gahtered we shouldn't strave.
Good news tough! The bassin I ordered to be made has been finished. Now we wont die of thirst aswell.
The first hut is also comming along... It only needs a roof and a door now. Im confident we will have huts for everybody by the end of spring.

Terrible... its just terrible. Today Jitolbus was trying to shoot the sturgeon that mauled one of our kobolds earlier... but the beast jumped out of the water and struck her. She jelped out once but was dead in an instant... atleast she didn't suffer.
We're all sadened by the loss of our leader... but the dream lives on! I'll make sure of that.
We'll burry her soon... and slay the sturgeon we now call Amalarere!

amalarere has made another victom. The kobold that was mauled some weeks ago came a little to close and Amalarere finished the job. I also came to a shocking realisation. The Kobold that died today was the only male! I've ordered the cook to get Jitolbus' bow and to kill Amalarere once and for all!
Update...
Amalarere has claimed another victom... The cook that I sent to slay Amalarere was riped to pieces! DAMNIT... the dream is fading.

they're all dead! All dead! Im the last one alive... Amalarere has killed them all when they tried to bury one and another.
This might be the last entry in this log. I've dug all the graves, and I've placed all the coffins... im going to attempt and bury the dead.
To whomever finds these logs... KOBOLDS ARENT SEPOSED TO LIVE ON THE SURFACE!!

well, thats it, Ive done what the others couldnt do, I've burried everyone.
I'm the only one left... theres no way to go back to the caves. The only thing I can do is survive till the caravan the elders promised shows up.
