Title: HFS Engravings

I was playing as a werewolf in adventure mode when I died to some frog demons. I came back in fortress and dug into the HFS and noticed some engravings of 'werewolves in a fetal position' and 'werewolves withering away', I guess demons have it out for everything.  ;D

I normally only see dwarves/elves/humans in those engravings.  Cool.

How did you encounter the frog demons?  Any mods?

That said, s/he has a point: How were they out if you hadn't dug in yet?

I think that the random imprisoned sentients the demons keep do their engravings, of their (notable) kills? They don't have any other important events to get selected for engravings...

I modded werewolves in as a civ in the raws, making the playable in adventure mode.

Though i'm not sure how the frogs got out but there were alot of them.

Is it possible for erosion to open the HFS?

I figured demons came from the 50 or so years of inbreeding between the things, like some weird goblin evolution.

They engraved werewolves because they are a simple race in your mod (as dwarves etc.).

Demons appear in the world when occasional miners breach pits. It's listed in legends if you check them.
