Title: Putting out Fire
Post by: kamikazemoose on April 18, 2008, 08:07:00 am
I just had some rampant magma run through the fortress leaving a large number of !!war dog corpses!! and other !!things!!. As far as I could tell theres nothing to do about it but wait.

Would it make sense if dwarves could go get water with buckets to put out fires?
Though there should still be the option to not try putting it out.

I think all those fire related things will comme with the lighting arc. At the moment, just forbid the burning items and wait for them to turn into ashes.

When confronted with fire dwarves should choose from the following, depending on their personalities:
A)Flee in opposite direction.
B)Panic.
C)Kill the nearest kitten.
D)Bring the offending flaming object to the mayor and throw a tantrum.

Seriously, cant wait for them to react realisticaly to fires   :D Mass panic would be fun.
