Title: Designate items for trade from Loo(k) menu.
Post by: Behrooz Wolf on November 05, 2007, 11:25:00 pm
Searching through the 'move goods to trade' dialogue is currently an incredible pain in the butt.

I'd love to have the ability to designate items for trade from the Loo(k) menu, ideally persistently designated items that are automatically flagged to be traded any time goods can be moved to the depot.

Being able to search through the move goods to trade dialogue with wildcards would also be excellent.

...and if that's doable, perhaps just an tiny little switch on workshops that designate all products to be auto-trade flagged?

I would like to just start with have the move goods to trade depot available all the time, and not have goods lose thier trading tag when the merchants packup.

I do like the idea of being able to put stuff in the depot automatically too.

I'd just like the Move Goods menu to be categorised. Apart from really advanced fortresses (and only a small fraction of the ones I play get to that point for various reasons, don't know about everyone else), all your trading items are likely to be of the same type. In my case, Finished Goods Bins most of the time. Navigating the menu with a similar interface to the stockpile settings menu, with a difference in that barrels/bins ought to be under the category of what they hold rather than Furniture, would be a big help.
