Title: Salt Lake City - been there?
Post by: Gorjo MacGrymm on March 25, 2009, 07:47:17 pm
I am travelling to Salt Lake City at the end of the month for a few days.  I was wondering if anyone here has ever been there and if they could give me suggestions of things to do and see (besides the Tabernacle i suppose).

thanks for any input,

Gorjo

I say you rob a bank. If the cops show up, you demand an armored car to drive to a airstrip and a plane to fly to whereabouts unknown. If your demands aren't met within 25 minutes, you start throwing dead hostages out the door at 8 minute intervals.

Not sure what to do after that point.

After that point you hope like hell that they meet your demands before you run out of hostages.

After THAT, well, I guess you run like hell.

(No I have never been to Salt Lake City)

Well, then they can just wait for you to run out of hostages, and then they get you. If you're killing one every 8 minutes, they need to make a decision fast, or more people die. They won't sacrifice all the people in the bank by either waiting too long or denying your demands.

oh ok, whew, good thing you reposted, I thought you meant throwing dead hostages outta the plane.....  Heh, that might've derailed the whole plan there!

You could hijack the plane, though. Ever hear of D. B. Cooper (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D._B._Cooper), American Folk Hero?

What he did won't work a second time, but you could probably think of something.

Yeah, of course. Do you think they would ever let the people hope?

I was born there, but haven't been there for about twenty years, so I don't know where all the happenin' places are.  The salt flats are worth seeing, just because there's nothing else like them in all of America.

I imagine Lumin would probably have something to say about this.
