Title: (40d) He ain't heavy, he's my brother
Post by: Rowanas on July 04, 2009, 04:03:55 pm
I abandoned a dwarf fortress specifically for an adventurer to find. He got there, looted a bit, and stumbled on a load of goblins. Yay! Fun!

Not so much. Turns out they don't fancy picking a fight. In fact, even when I systematically attacked every single one of them, none of them seemed willing to put up a fight. Even herbivores fight, but not goblins.

maybe they're pansies...

i've heard of this problem in fortress mode before, with happy go friendly goblins hanging out - but it went with a siege of goblins.

maybe it's the character race you've allocated for adventurer mode??

Dwarf. Turns out I appear to be at peace with EVERYTHING in adventure mode except animals and quest monsters. I went into a goblin fortress and they wouldn't attack me, so I just started hacking. now it's like it should be. I'll have to do it to every bunch of gobbos I meet though.
