Title: As if elephants weren't evil enough before...
Post by: Jeon on November 02, 2007, 02:51:00 pm
Digging around in the raws I found this in the elephant raws:

code:

[ATTACK:SECOND:BYTOKEN:RTUSK:tusk:tusks:1:6:GORE]
[ATTACK:SECOND:BYTOKEN:LTUSK:tusk:tusks:1:6:GORE]

I checked and it was not there previously.

Elephants can now gore dwarves with their tusks instead of just stomping on them, run for your lives!!! (Make sure you don't fall in the river with the dwarf-eating carp though)

Elephants could use their tusks back in the old version, too. It's a secondary attack, though. you have to disable their legs before they try using their tusks.

Unless if the secondary attack token means the Elephants just use their tusks less often now.

Finally, I don't have to mod their tusks in.
Too bad it doesn't have some tag that stops it from bleeding or makes it sever on break.

Elephants are pushovers in this version. Toady made them much less aggressive. I don't know if they even fight back at all.

I had a single dwarf caravan guard take out *3* with no wounds, and chase the rest off the map before he went back to the depot to guard.
