I only just now noticed I could add the DF wiki to the search bar in Firefox. That's really speeded up stuff!
-
How? I looked at the shearch plugins for firefox, but it looked like I would have to make my own. Is there an easier way, or could you post yours?

I found all you have to do is go to the wiki's website then click the button for changing the search engine. At that point it will show add Dwarf Fortress wiki just as Red Jackard's screen shot shows.

Oh, cool. Thanks.

Now that's helpful! Amazing what one can't see right in front of them...sheesh.

I prefer smart bookmarks. Go to the wiki, rightclick on the search field and choose "Add a Keyword for this Search...". Use a descriptive name and a short keyword (I use "dw"). Then you can just type in an URL like, say, "dw nobles" and be taken to http://www.dwarffortresswiki.net/index.php/Nobles .

Ooh. That's even more handy!

Of course, once the interface gets done proper, we'll have all the information we need accessible in the game. That will be even more more handy.
