Line 1: First 8 tiles are lighting, based off a median of no darkness or brightness. Next 8 tiles are temperature for partial/total thermal vision.
Line 2: Floor tiles magical, metal, stone, wood, dirt, glass, sand, shallow pit. The far-right 4 are floor overlays; cooled magma, plant growth, fungus growth, and iced-over water.
Line 3 are walls relating to the tiles above. Ignore the palette. The far-right 4 are area-effects; hot air, smoke, fog, cold air.
Line 4 are the animation tiles for water, it's "flooding" tile, and then magma, shallow water, and fire.
Line 5 are animation tiles for almost-invisible webs, visible webs, and cave-in "flooding" dirt and sand.
Line 6 are animation tiles for damp walls and warm/melty walls.
Line 7, 8, and 9 are all related to doorways and passages of types and sizes. Secret and/or caved-in, pitch-black to blindingly-bright, then magical to glass doorways, then magical to glass grates.
Line 10 are vertical movement ropes, ladders, ramps, and stairs.

1-3 Humanoids; Large (gigantism) to small (dwarfism)
4 Underground dwelling generic humanoid.
5 Living so-called undead* generic humanoid.
6-8 Goblinoids; Troll, Orc, and Goblin.
9-11 Elvenoids; Surface elf, Savage elf, and Under elf.
12 + 13; Dwarves. Surface, and Under.
14-16; Fairies, large to small. Fairy, pixie, wisp.
17-20; Dragons, oldest to youngest. Wyvern, dragon, draconian, welp.
21 + 22; Lizardkin. Adult and child.
23 + 24; Snakekin. Venom injectors and venom sprayers.
25-27; Merfolk. Most humanoid, to most fishlike.
28 + 29; Sentient Jellyfish. In water and on land.
30-32; Sentient Slime. Most aware/vulnerable to least aware/vulnerable.
33-38; Animal-men. Werewolf, Wolfman/Catman, Kobold, Mole man, Rat man, Mouse man.
39-41; Insect-men. Queen, Soldier, and Worker. Ranges from Ants to Spiders.
42 + 43 / 44 + 45; Sentient Fungi / Sentient Plant. 42, 44 is immobile. 43, 45 is mobile.
46; Artificial construct. Implied as mechanically built.
47; Element man. Implied as naturally formed.
48; Intentionally left blank, possibly sentient gasious-cloud**

Suggestions/Critique please.
These are all works-in-progress for a roguelike i would rather not have posted about (no real content) but felt the need to otherwise i'd have been more likely to give up and do nothing with it. (which would be bad :-X)
Edit - Also, someone else could use them in their project if they were hard-up for half-assed sprites.
