Title: Fire performance: Kael rickrolled downtown SF two years ago

I thought you guys might be amused by this.

Here I was thinking the footage had disappeared...  It took place two years ago in San Francisco's Union Square. Never Gonna Give You Up echoed off the walls of skyscrapers that night. I am amused to say the least - despite the overall lackluster performance.
(It was arranged last minute).

Hehehe.

Who arranged the Rick Roll, anyway?

I did. One of my friends from Philly was doing the show and I had just moved into the bay a week prior. He had me speak to the organizer and I was placed on last minute.

Since I didn't have anything prepared I decided to Rickroll the crowd. Just because... why not?

Alright Kael, we all know you've already established yourself as the coolest guy here, this is just coolness overkill.

I don't think the crowd understood they were being rickrolled though...

Some of them got it. You can hear laughter in the beginning: it was 1/3 laughs, 1/3 groans, and 1/3 "wtf I don't understand".

Later on a bunch of kids ran up yelling something about Rick Astley, but I couldn't hear.
