So, what adventures has everyone had with the LCS vs the CCS?
What's the strongest you ever had the CCS get? What're they like at maximum strength? ... can you still take them down at this point?
Some stories about the resulting bloodbath would be cool! How do you take down 5 squads of mercenaries armed with assault rifles with your 6 man team?
I heard that someone raided the CCS before they burst onto the scene... OUCH. Poor CCS. What causes the CCS to burst onto the scene nowadays? Is it still LCS bursting onto the scene or is it public opinion shifting, or is it changes in laws and government?
Pity you can't recruit the strongest unit in the game anymore... it would have been amusing to have the following scenario:
CCS Boss: I am the ultimate Conservative Soldier! I have the best armor, the best weapons, superior juice and weapons skill. I have hordes of minions! You are but 6 men. What can you do?
LCS Squad: We are...
CCS Boss: You are...?
LCS Squad: We are a squad of 6 Armored Tanks.
CCS Boss: Well, crap.

What's your favorite weapon to do this? AK-47? Swords? Guitars? Mutants? Dogs?

just i tougth about this today, is there a way to find the CCS without making sleepers, and interogating people? (i would like a one-man chalange but i am not sure if i can take downd the CCS if i not make sleepers by them to find them)
-
Yes, I intterogated a guy and got the location of it.
-
I think you don't have to turn them into sleepers... as long as your interogation succeeds, they will give you the location of their safehouse. Or sometimes they give you a map during interogation.
You could just sack them after turning them...
-
Strongest CCS? Worst I've seen is when every site action that triggers an alarm results in the CCS waiting outside, filling up the bottom of the screen with their vigilantees, wielding Assault Rifles.
When that started happening, I prioritized shutting down the CCS...

OOUCH.
So how did you shut them down? I know how to find them. But I'm imagining you having to chop up 25 mercenaries arming assault rifles.
OUCH.

I remember when I took down the CCS.
It was a dark and stormy night. My conservative sleeper just had his cover blown becuase of my previous attempts to attack with a guitar. So he was there.
I steped up to the door with my leader who had 20 dodge and some high number of katana. This was the only violent act my leader had ever done in the whole course of the game, becuase the conservative skum had to be stopped.
The mercenary standing at the door said he was going to bury me in some plants so I just stood there until he metamorphisized into a prostitute or something. I quickly ran in and started chopping up heaps of conservatives. The battle raged on for a good two minutes, and my sleeper fell. Finally I saw a hardened veteran appear. It was an enemy type Ive never seen before so I was like "alright!"
And I killed it in like three hits. Then the game proclaimed my victory and I was like "What? Thats it?"
It was so anti-climatic. I thought there was going to be a big boss or something.
-
What the hey? How'd you get dodging so high?
And how'd you get your sword skill up without violent action?

Being shot at and stuff. After around 10 dodge it gets a bit easier to increase. Not a single tooth missing either. My luck was supurb.
I got sword so high from previous attacks on CCS. So I guess that wasen't the ONLY violent act my leader did.
Point was I did all of my violence on the CCS house.
He was the most epic character ever and I probably would have beaten the game with him but a bug screwed me over.

Veteran's arn't bugs, they are overpowered as hell, I got one as a recruit once using seduction, and he took down 5 agents by himself without a scratch, no problem....... they are cheap, but not glitched.

A veteran didn't kill my character.
A glitch made it so I cant progress in time.

What does "we didn't start the fire" do? It makes the CCS active from the start, and puts them automatically into mode 2? Or mode 3 or 4? I'm basing off this:
"Right now the CCS can't kidnap your people or siege your safehouses. While progress is slow on the next release, as I have other pressing things to do, there's untested code in place to allow the CCS to attack your safehouse, starting an average of 2 years after they first appear. They will progress through four stages of strength:
1) Dormant. They don't appear anywhere, and don't do anything.
2) Appearance. They start taking actions and appearing in the news. You can find them around town sometimes. This will start after you've succeeded somewhat in getting Liberalism more dominant.
3) Attacks. They start ambushing your site action teams as you leave sites. This will start, on average, 12 months after they start doing site actions, but it's random, and can be sooner or later than that. This isn't something you can do to them yet, but eventually I hope to allow you to have squads assigned to patrol parts of town in cars, as a way of responding to any events they stumble across in those areas.
4) Sieges. They start to attack your safehouses. If they succeed in an attack on one of your upgradable permanent safehouses (not homeless shelter or apartment), or a former CCS safehouse, they will capture it, and turn it into an Enemy Safe House until you take it back. You won't need sleepers or maps to know about these sites, they'll be permanently known to you, because they used to be yours. This starts an average of 12 months after they start ambushing your site action teams.
5) Defeated. They cease operations of all forms, permanently. This happens after you capture their last base of operations."
from an old post of jon's
Does this still even apply?

We Didn't Start The Fire starts them in mode 3.
-
And does smashing their safe house restore them to Mode 1?
-
Drops them to mode 2. Each safe house destroyed knocks them back a level, every 12 months or so bumps them up a level, and the third safe house sends them to mode 5.
Incidentally, playing in classic mode just starts them in mode 5.
