I managed to get 1 LCS member to 76 years old... 2060 I believe. What about you guys? What's the oldest you've managed to have anyone? Can people die of old age in this game? Has anyone gone up past 2100 to spaceball bats and such?

I have gotten to 2100. They do not have spaceball bats, but the lasers are cool.
People can and do die of old age.
I think is time to start up the retiree LCS. We want to grow our own glochoma medicine!

Lasers? Which weapons change into that?
At what age do they start dying off from old age?
And 2100? Did you still have your original founder then, or anyone from the early levels? That's 91 years after the LCS founded! So cool!

It was an older version, and since the founder is around 20 at game start, that means at 2100 the founder would be around 110 years old.
Long story short, no. I had to stop halfway and recruit a teenager. I think it was before the current disband menu was implemented, so I had to "trick" the system into returning the LCS to active status around 2050.
I didn't answer before because I do not know the exact age statistics, i.e. when they die, what determines when they die, etc. But I believe old age starts to kill around 80.
For exploring the future, you will need to also ensure society does not fall totally to the conservatives while you are inactive. Bit of action when you pick up the replacement founder should be enough, but I suggest the law student sleeper. That should be enough until the lawyer dies of old age.
9mm pistols turn into 9mm laser guns I believe. Not sure on the rest, but there are really no new weapons, just renames of the old ones.

EDIT: Just remembered the trick I used to get to 2100 without being able to return after disbanding! I got my liberal founder arrested for a long time!
The founder was released around 2050, I recruited a teenager, send the teenager to get enough juice to take over, got the old man killed, then had the teenager surrender to the cops. I think I actually had to do the same one more time before it was after 2100.
