Title: Offloading units while minimized

In the process of creating a new world and I noticed that the "offloading units" counter does not progress while DF is minimized.

I don't think DF does anything when it is minimized.  I should be able to make it an init option, though I don't have experience with minimized apps and don't know if there are some pitfalls to be avoided.

I quite like it how it is myself, if you minimise the app it doesn't use system resource (other than the memory it already has) and you can happily let it work in the background without minimising if your generating worlds and the like.
