Title: Ant Epiphany (Interactive Adventure!)
Post by: Jookia on August 17, 2010, 07:53:22 pm
You are the first known ant to gain an intelligent mind, the ability to make decisions and awareness of your surroundings.

What do you do?

I try to climb out of the whole.

You climb out of the hole in to the grass, the world just a few centimeters higher..

Gather some Resources from the nearby Plants.
Wonder why you are alone...
Are you Female???
Should your Butt be four times as large and smaller ants should be popping out of it...

Are you those stupid small ants that people slap when they see you on the counter, or are you the ones that could kill a motherfecking scorpion?

No idea, no and no.

Small ones.

try to climb onto a blade of grass

Before you can do this, you get stepped on and die.

I find this game both philosophical and enraging.

I actually don't have the energy to draw anything else, I'm sucking on VapoDrops and blowing my news on tissues.

Sure, why not.

Although you've been an ant a long time, you're now able to make decisions. Instantly thoughts enter your mind as quickly as they leave as you try to stand up, pondering everything. Life, death, why you're aware, how this has happened, if anybody else is aware, the list of questions keep flowing until you open your eyes.

You're in your colony. You're just a worker ant, nobody special. You stand up and look around.

You're in a dimly lit dead end of a tunnel made from soft dirt. You've been digging all day and decided to take a nap. The exit of this tunnel is behind you, as the dead end is in front of you. The exit leads down to the main tunnel of the colony which harvests exits to almost anywhere, including the exit of the colony and queen.

You need to get away. The madness! The others would laugh! Must... get... away... You begin to aim upward with your path, until eventually you hit the surface. The sun momentarily blinds you, and as your eyes adjust, you become aware of the world around you, and in particular, a furry thing of gargantuan size, which has a long tube where its olfactory senses would normally be. Something made him back away, something he never felt before. But despite its newness, it was hard to resist. You are unsure what to do, but so far avoiding big things has kept you alive, so how could running hurt?

After half of an entire sun-time of running, you grow hungry. What will you do?

You moved as fast as an ant can, past blades of grass and various items, ignoring anything that would normally get your attention. Eventually you ran out of energy and collapsed, on soft ground of some kind and surrounded by rocks..

Find something you can eat without any sort of problems occurring, and then eat it.

Random forum silliness. I can't really write anything right now as I have a blistering headache, sore throat and a blocked nose.
