Title: Roll to Dodge: Mutant Aggression. [Turn 12: Helmet modification engaged.]
Post by: Repulsion on December 31, 2010, 09:08:57 pm
  I have decided to make an RtD, because it seems fun, and I have an easy to use program that helps me, so I don't have to mass-manage a lot of stuff. There will be a max of 5 players and a waiting list, in case any not-fast-enough posters want to eventually join in.

Spoiler: Dice (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Character Creation (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Health System (click to show/hide)

Now to get to the story!

   You wake up with a slight headache, a dull, insistent ache in all limbs, along with a cold chill. You are lying on your back on cold metal, and as you open your senses even further, you realize that you are on a plane, based on small shaking and the whine that accompanies all plane flights. You realize that you don't know who you are, but suddenly a wave of memories crashes over you. Your name, who you are, and your secret... your mutation. You realize with fear that most people feared and hated the mutants. And then beyond that... nothing. Other than those few memories, you can't remember your past life at all.

  With a large inhale of breath, you sit up and realize something on your wrist. A bracelet of some sort, looking like slightly changed hospital bracelet. You peer a little closer and see 4 large letters. M.R.A.C. and under those 4 small words, spelling out: Mutant Reprisal and Containment.

You realize that, as the small hairs on the back of your neck stand straight up, your location and this weird bracelet must be connected to your mutation. You now experience an urge to get out of here. Whoever is piloting this plane can't be friendly... What do you do?

Everyone is accepted. I forgot to post the medical system but I'll add it in. Everyone can post their actions now. Also Tam, you didn't post any skills. So I'll just wait for you to modify your post or something.

++++---++++
Turn 1
++++---++++

Look around the room, see if theres a door.
[3] You look around the room, yet you fail to find a door. You do, however, notice several large boxes.

Search for the door to the pilot's cabin.
[4] You notice a completely plain metal door. A sign on it reads: To Crew Quarters

Check what I am wearing at the moment.
[2] Strangely, you have trouble trying to discern what you are wearing. After a while of staring at yourself in a dumb looking way you realize that you are wearing a torn and tattered black jumpsuit.

check my gear
[6] You seem to be carrying a pair of wicked-looking spiked gloves, and a pistol.

Check to see if wings are ok, look for an exit
[2] Your wings feel a bit weak, and it seems that you might need to rest a while or something to get them at their best. You don't bother looking for an exit, as Neos, the reason of which you know his name unknown, has already pointed to what seems like the only exit in the room.

Turn 2
++++---++++

Check equipment and then open the large boxes.
[3] You seem to be carrying a letter-opener. It's better than nothing. You then walk over and crack open a crate. In there seems to be a key, which you grab. But to what?

Press ear against crew's quarters to hear if they are talking nearby.
[4] You stealthily walk over to the door, and press your ear towards it. You definitely hear something, but the words are muffled. However, after a bit of staying there, the words untangle themselves and you are able to make out several words. "Why do you think this corporation wants to contain mutants? They ain't even part of the government! I could understand if the CIA or sum'ting wanted to but some strange, obscure corp?" After a few seconds of silence a voice responds. "Dan't worry 'bout it. All we gotta do is unload the tranq'd muts back at the island. The muts are surely still knocked out..."  From what you can gather, you and everyone else was shot with a tranquilizer dart and were supposed to stay under for much longer....

Open the Boxes, then check equipment
I found them.
[5] You saunter over to a crate and snap it open. Inside, to your surprise, is a lajatang. You then check your equipment. You seem to be carrying a normal-looking black jumpsuit but as you examine it a little further it seems that it also has a very thin layer of Kevlar on it.

Check equipment, while doing so examine bracelet for tracking divices, bugs etc
[3] You pat yourself down, feeling for pockets, pouches, and useful items, all the while looking at your bracelet. After a while you find a pair of MMA gloves, but you are unable to discern anything about the bracelet.

if you want i could try to fill the crew quaters with nauseating gas trough the keyhole
[4] Telling everyone to stand away from the door, quietly, you stand beside it and start excreting your fumes, trying to direct them to the keyhole, or under the door. Although some gas slips away and drifts to the top of the room you are currently in, a lot of the gas goes into the Crew Quarters. Soon, you hear strangled gasps. [Mutation upgrade 1/2!]
[1] You hear a particularly angry voice gasping and yelling, and then several gunshots, before a large thump as if a body had fallen and hit the floor. However, in response to the firsts gunshots, several more sound out. Oh shit... You think as you remember your gasses flammability, right before your gas ignites.
[5] The explosion ruptures the air around you, and blasts the door to the crew quarters off its hinges outwards, which means right at you. You, however, skip easily to the side as the door carries on for a little longer before smashing into a crate. You take a glance into the quarters and see several charred and blackened bodies. You also notice that some windows are open to the air, and can only assume that the explosion cracked them open. Already several small items are swirling and inching towards some of the windows as the air pressure takes hold.

  As I said in the action, only a little bit of gas didn't go into the Quarters, and that gas quickly drifted to the ceiling of the cargo bay, which was the place everyone started in. There is also no gas in the Quarters, because most of it was ignited and the rest was sucked out the broken windows.
  But anyways, just waiting for wolfchild to post her action.

  Also, do any of you guys know a good ASCII/whatever mapmaker?

Turn 3
++++---++++

Flip into high-speed and rush into the pilot's cabin. I need to see if the autopilot is still working.
[5] You pick up your pace, sprinting towards the pilot's cabin. You also turn on your upgraded reflexes, which help a bit [Mutation upgrade 1/2!]. When you get there, see that there was never any pilots, but a highly advanced autopilot. It's basically a half-circle dashboard with several black half-balls sticking out of the dashboard, with cords trailing to a larger black ball where the pilots would normally sit. Looks like the plane is good for a while, but what is it's destination, and do you even want to go to the destination?

Quickly scavenge whatever is on the personell inside the cabin
[3] You don't manage to find much, other than some kind of odd baton.

look for any weapon that have survived
[1] You run into the crew quarters, perhaps with too much excitement. You trip and bang your nose on the floor, not to mention dropping your spiked gloves, which are already inching towards a broken window.

Run in, Lajatang in hand, and look for anything metal whiten 2.5 feet
[6] You run into the quarters, a perfect example of how people SHOULD do it, you think while looking at Crustacian. You then turn on your magnetism [Mutation upgrade 1/2!]
  It seems that you stopped in the middle of where most of the bodies and equipment had fallen, and most of the equipment, which happened to be metal, suddenly rushed towards you and smashed into your lower body, mostly. Your lower body, and both hips now ache a bit.

Run to the pilots seat and take controll of the aeroplane, cant be that different to using my wings riiight?(this is panic not stupidity), try to find a place to land it nearby
[1] In a blind panic, you rush towards where you saw Neos go, which you can only be the cockpit. Because of said panic, you fail to notice that Neos had closed the door after him and you smash into the hard metal of the door. Your nose now hurts a lot, and it feels a bit clogged up.

Turn 4
++++---++++

[Lotta good rolls on this one. Particularly for HighEndNoob.]

Inform everyone of the Conversation I heard, and check the controls.
[4] You quickly explain of the conversation you heard to everyone. Then you run to the odd autopilot and try to look for buttons or something. You find several black buttons on the large black ball, almost blending in, and some more on the half-balls that are on the dashboard. What could they do?

FIx nose, berrate Neos
[5] You take several deep breaths, concentrating a little on your nose. After a while, it feels a bit better [Healed 1/2!]. You then berate Neos for closing the door on you. Neos feels empty inside.

Search for reference points or coordinates/etc on the instrumentation, and if I find it, change the coordinates if reasonably possible to a large open area on a major land mass.
[4] You look around for a coordinate setter or destination sender or something but fail to find anything. Then you look up. On the ceiling of the pilot's cabin, seems to be a highly detailed electronic map that seems to cover the whole world, and it has several blinking, different colored pinpoints on it. One of the pinpoints is blinking green, and most of the others are blinking red. Some are blinking black.
  After a bit of stretching, you get your hand in a position to press something, if anything can even be pressed. You're hopefully stretching your hand to a pinpoint somewhere in France, when the plane hits some turbulence. You lose your balance, and in an attempt to steady yourself, you flail and hit a random pinpoint
  A robotic voice suddenly sounds out: "Now heading to Tokyo, Japan."

Try to heal my hips. Pick up the objects near me that look important.
[6] With a sudden flurry of random hope and energy, you concentrate hard on the dull aching in your body, and soon the aching on your lower body stops. Both hips still hurt a little bit, though. You then look through all the objects that are still sticking on you. After a bit of searching, you find a combat knife, 2 grenades, 1 different-looking grenade, and some Kevlar gloves.

GET THOSE GLOVES BACK!!!!!!!
[4] Jumping up quite suddenly, you lunge forward and grab your gloves. Holding them triumphantly, you edge away from any broken windows.

((Haha, I am back earlier than I could have hoped.))

++++---++++
Turn 5

++++---++++

The reason my wings dont feel so good must be i havnt exercised them in a while
Finish fixing the nose, exercise wings
[6] Squinting your eyes, you blink rapidly and your nose twitches a bit. Soon it feels completely fine. Then you decide to exercise your wings a bit. You clear an area around you, unfurl your wings, and hop up into the air and... stay there [Mutation upgrade 1/2!]. Suddenly a large gust of air, coming in from the broken windows, catches your wings and it slams you into a window. Your upper body feels a little bruised now.

Take HEN's combat knife and cut off all the bracelets. Also read them in detail.
[3] You quite rudely take John's knife and cut off everyone's bracelets. You then pick one of them up and try to read what is on it, but the words look strangely blurred.

Grab knife after Tam finishes, Than magnitate more objects toward me.
[6] You snatch the knife back from Tam after he finishes, nicking your finger in the process. You shrug, then turn on your internal magnification [Mutation upgrade available!]. The body of a guard moves a little, and then suddenly an assault rifle flies out from under the body and strikes you in the gut. You are now Slightly Nauseous

Ignore wolfchild for the next 5 turns, it 's not my fault he ran into a door that was clearly closed.. Meanwhile, I focus on limbering up and getting in shape for for the unavoidable conflicts I see in the future, in crowded Tokyo.
[4] Screw that dumb bitch! She ran into the door herself! [Status effect cleared!] After looking disdainfully at Sorrow, you stretch your limbs and take some deep breaths. You now feel Ready

put the gloves on and continue looking for anything that can be handy to have.
[5] You pull your spiked gloves on, getting your hands used to their peculiar feeling on your hands. You then shuffle through the mess of bodies and equipment, and find a Medi-kit.

((Okay then. Remember that you can change ANY one factor of your mutation, HEN. Also, sorry to all about the sudden status effects, and the descriptive items. I figured that I wanted to give a bonus for having a Medi-kit, and it just evolved from there.
  Also, if you didn't catch it yet, purple is for items that give bonuses and such, and white is for items that are just... items. Please ask me if you would like for me to use a different color than the white, as it is a little strenuous on my eyes and might be so too on yours.))

Turn 6

++++---++++

Upgrade my Magnetism to be able to send electric pulses through Medal whiten my range as well as magnetate them. Try to heal my injuries if I can.
You upgrade your mutation to be able to send electric pulses. Your mutation is now Electric-Pulse Magnetism [EPM] | [1]  You try to heal the bruises on your hips and gut by jabbing at them a bit with your combat knife. Where the hell did you get that idea? They are both now bleeding heavily.

While nursing my bruise, make neos seem like a jerk to everyone else
[2] You pat your upper body a bit, hoping it will feel a bit better. It doesn't. You then frustratedly start telling everyone else how Neos is an inconsiderate jerk with no feelings for anyone else. No one seems to get your point.

Turn on enhanced reflexes and practice some attacks with the letter opener. (It counts for my blade skill right?)
[4] You switch on your advanced reflexes and slash a bit at some imaginary enemies with your letter-opener [5 experience points gained!]. You now are 5/35 on your way to Skilled Blades. | Something regarding skills.

make myself comfortable i dont think were getting out of this plane anytime soon.
[3] Shrugging, you lie down on a bunk bed and rest your head on a pillow. It's not ALL too comfortable.

Are we there yet?
[5] In a bout of frustration, you look out the window. In the distance, you can see a SHIT-TON of lights concentrated in a smallish area. It must be Japan!
  But wait... what is that small thing heading towards you? It can't be... oh no it is. It's a missile!

---SPECIAL OCCURRENCE---
A missile flies toward the plane everyone is on, making very good distance in a matter of seconds. It seems to be highly advanced. In the time-frame of a minute or so, the missile strikes the pilot's cabin.
[1-1=0] The blast reaches it's fiery hands to grab at John, and he is caught completely unaware, his state of slight nausea not helping at all! The roaring flames and explosion activate his three grenades, causing his already near immolated body to be simply incinerated! [HEN is dead!] However, he dropped some of his items upon his horrible death.
[4+1+1=6] Neos, his enhanced reflexes and state of readiness helping him greatly, bounds away from the blast, avoiding it completely! Unfortunately, he bumped his right arm against a bunk-bed when he dodged.
[3] Tam saw the missile in the first place, but unfortunately didn't take the chance to run away right away. His right arm and right leg got singed.
[6] Crustacian was already in the process of changing to a more comfortable bed when the missile hit, and was thus able to scramble away from the blast! However, he bumped his left knee on the metal floor during his escape.
[3] Sorrow was backing away from the window that she had slammed into when the missile hit, thus being able to avoid the blast for the most part. Her face is a bit singed, however.

---Two turns before you crash into something!---
The blast completely obliterated the pilot's cabin, and the plane is now tipping forward, gravity pulling it down faster than you could have thought possible. Will it hit in the water, or on the land of Japan? Either way, time to attempt to bale or to brace!

((Also, a back-story to TolyK))

A large jolt, accompanied by a loud sound, wakes you from your peaceful sleep. You shake your head rapidly as you sit up, and see that you were lying, hidden beside several large crates. You stand up a bit unsteadily, as for some reason the floor you are standing on is tipping forward a bit, and a sense of vertigo is overtaking your senses. What do you do, and furthermore, where are you?

Ask what the hell is going on while crushing imploding the crates though gravity and getting what's inside, again through gravity. Believing the plane is falling, get self into position to slow the impact of the plane.

EDIT: oh:

I wouldn't suggest doing that... I'm gonna try to steer the plane using gravity fields and hope it works out fine. Next turn could ya please fly back? Or else you could be left stranded... well unless you want to fight it out solo and meet us.

  Who knows, TolyK, your editing of gravity MAY not cause the plane's descent to slow, but only to start descending while spinning. I'll take people's actions as they come, and if they have a successful one, they PROBABLY won't want to try their hand with you and your gravity.

++++---++++
Turn 7

++++---++++

In hi-speed mode, find a parachute and bail out. (If I cant find a parachute, use a sheet)
[4+1=5] You turn on your enhanced reflexes again [Mutation upgrade available!] and with the speed given to you by them, quickly search through the bunk-beds and some bodies, and to your surprise, in a little beside crate, you find a parachute! You quickly strap it on, thanking your reflexes again, because the parachute was a bit bulky and would have taken longer to put on without your speed, and take a running start towards the open air that was once the pilot's cabin. You jump out, and start free-falling. Only once you are in the air do you realize that you feel a bit weak, probably caused by all your super-reflexive actions.

Ask what the hell is going on while imploding the crates though gravity and getting what's inside, again through gravity. Believing the plane is falling, get self into position to slow the impact of the plane.
[4] You try to ask what the hell is going on, but you see no people. You shrug and concentrate on a few nearby crates. You manage to try to start imploding three at once. After a bit of concentrating, one of the crates crushes whatever is inside it as it implodes, but the two other crates implode with no damage done to what is inside them. You get a helmet, and what looks like a large Swiss Army Knife. You then sit down on the floor and brace yourself against a few crates.
[4] You start concentrating on the metal beneath you, it being a little difficult not knowing completely what you are on, what it's made of, and such, but you manage to do a little. The floor now starts tipping backwards a bit, and you start feeling like your being crushed into the floor. You assume this is good, because if it's a normal plane you are on, the pilot's cabin pointing up a bit would mean that the main mass of the plane is providing air resistance, which is good.

With wings clasped tightly to her back, sorrow runs to the exit of the plane and jumps out, when at a safe distance from the plane, she spreads her wings and starts gliding to the nearest land, while trailing the plane to where it crashes
[4+1=5] You easily tuck in your wings a bit, back up down the Quarters, and then run forward and throw yourself out of the plane, your Aerobatics skill helping somewhat. You let yourself fall for a while, but then you spread your wings [Mutation upgrade available!] [10 experience points gained!]. You laugh at how easy it is. This is what your wings were made to do! You shrug off your feeling of elation and glance back at the plane. Nothing is there, other than the round hole that looks in upon crew quarters.
  After watching in shock for a moment, you realize that the plane is blinking in and out of existence. Some kind of stealth system immediately flies into your mind. You then notice the advanced-looking, almost futuristic, engines on the wings, and at the back of the plane, on a weird-looking tail fin. If the plane was so advanced, why would the owners, or whoever launched the missile, blow it up?

look for a parachute wait oh f**k they was in the crew quaters well brace for impact on the softest in the plane?
[5] You look around in panic for another parachute, like the one you saw Neos bail with a minute back. You fail to find one, so you brace yourself against a bunk-bed. You manage to find what feels like a good position. You are now Braced well. You take a glance outside and notice how the lights far below are much closer now. Oh how time flies.

Pat off whatever flames are left on me and climb outside for the wing. Also, see what the plane looks like while I'm there.
[3] You brush off some sparks on your right arm, whatever that will do for your tiny burns, and experience an idea. Using trailing cords, metal bars, and the like from the explosion, you hoist yourself up, slowly but surely, on top of the plane and then onto what you assume is a wing. After you shake off your feeling of slight panic and take a small breath of whatever little air is up here, your eyes fly downwards to look at the plane and see... nothing. You give a cry of surprise and tumble back, almost off the plane, before grabbing at what you ASSUME is some kind of air flap on the wing, if you even are on a wing.
  Then the full realization of what you just did hits you. Oh yeah, let's climb onto the wing of a plane that is falling at who-knows-how-fast in a trajectory that will most likely crash into a very big, crowded city. What's that? The air is a bit thin up here? Oh I bet that can't trump not knowing where the hell you are on the plane and what you are holding onto because THE PLANE IS INVISIBLE. Oh, and not to mention the possible land to air defense missile coming your way from the people who don't really want a plane crashing into their city. You don't really know how that idea flew into your conscious on that one.

---ONE AND A HALF turns before you crash into something!---
Logan's gravity manipulation has done a little something...

Turn 8

++++---++++

wait for impact, think about my own mortality
[2] You count seconds in your head. It gets really boring. You think about your own mortality. You realize that your mortality isn't the best right now.

I'll look for a panel into the wing while climbing up to a better position.
[5] You grab the air-flap you are holding onto with both hands and swing yourself onto the wing in a might display of strength! And there's better news! You can actually see the wing completely now! The invisibility thing must have finally shorted out completely.
  You look around and spot a panel, a bit farther out into the air than you are. You take a sigh of relief that you managed to find a better position but... you're still barely holding onto the wing of a plane that is crashing. That isn't the best position you've seen in life.

Put helmet on and S.A.K. in a good place. Look out a window and look for the boundary to land and sea. When found, maneuver myself into a braced position and try to "steer" plane to fairly shallow water.
[5] You put the helmet on easily, and then clip the S.A.K. onto your jumpsuit with a handy-dandy clip-tool thing. You then, giving up your gravity-manipulation, quickly jog over to a nearby window. You look around for the boundary between land and sea... and barely notice it just as the plane passes over it. Shit.
  Running quickly back to your position you had when manipulation gravity, you brace yourself and attempt to land the plane in the next best place: A big field. Again, you get slammed into the floor of the plane as you work hard with your gravity [Mutation upgrade available!] to slow the plane a bit more. It seems to slow a bit, but it's still a plane and you fail to do A LOT.

Upgrade my mutation to passively improve my perception/sensory processing/mental speed as well, And gently steer the parachute towards land, resting my body while I do.
You focus on your mutation, attempting to bring it closer to you. You focus on what changes to bring to your mutation and then... it suddenly feels like something is changed. Your mutation is now Enhanced reflexes-Mental power [ERPMP] [6-1=5] You look around for any steering-straps on your parachute and, finding some, you grasp them and tug at them a bit, changing direction when you do so. You scout around at the land, looking for a goodish place to land, and see a large field that is... right outside a city. You tug at the straps a bit, then sit back to enjoy the ride and rest, hoping that the plane will land where you are landing too.

Upgrade wings to not be so fragile, see if i can spot anyone else bailng (or the idiot on the wing)
You flex your wings, thinking of them, absorbing the feeling that they give you. You think about the changes you want to your mutation, and you feel your wings' muscles and sinews thicken and harden a bit. You now have Strong large reptilian wings  [5] You flap your wings once to turn around [1/3 to second upgrade!], trying to see if you can spot anyone. You see a human body attached to a parachute a little ways off and below you as well as a body crouching on a wing, holding onto some kind of flap. To climb onto a crashing plane's wing... you wonder what got in that guy's head.

---2/3 of a turn before you crash into something!---
Logan's gravity manipulation has done a little something more. Only a little something, however.

Ahra (Crustacian): As it seems that basically everyone's got off the plane but me and you, I guess we could either wait or jump off the plane and go into a (gravity-slowed) free-fall. I'll wait until you posts your (dis)agreement.

All:
Well, looks like it's working!  :D
Well since it's a field (thinking rice patty field, no?) it should still be quite soft.

ok then:

Upgrade:
Upgrade power to manipulating gravity fields to affect only select objects (such as the plane but not a nearby heli), a.k.a. Selective Gravity-Field Manipulation (SGFM). The thing is that the range isn't unlimited (as it used to be, basically) but only up to 1 km.  :D

Move:
Since the plane's nose is tipped up, go to cabin and hurriedly try to set landing gear. While there, quickly grab various parts quickly, and brace myself. Use my SGFM to slow down the plane further and try to minimize damage. (BTW I'm looking for tech and potential weapon parts from the cabin.)

Oh, and I have level 3 tech/weapon DIY btw

Force the flaps on the wing up in an attempt to steer the plane.
Into the field!

Yeah, definitely into the field. I wouldn't want to risk the sea with a plane in this state.
Whoever is on the plane better find a way to get the wheels open somehow.
oh right, updating about that.

  Er, one thing before I update. TolyK, the pilot's cabin is gone. It was wiped out by the missile. That is why the plane's nose (or would be nose) is tipping upwards, because the weight of the cargo bay in the back is more than weight in the front.

Scoop the guy from the wing, and help him land safely
[1+1=2] You dive towards the guy on the wing [2/3 to 2nd mutation upgrade!] [5 Aerobatics skill gained!], in an attempt to scoop him up safely but all you manage doing is brushing him a little.

Force the flaps on the wing up in an attempt to steer the plane.
[2] You attempt to force the wind-flaps on the wing in a few different directions in an attempt to steer the plane. You don't even manage to budge one.

nah i stay on the plane
[6] You stay on the plane REALLY well... (???)

---THE PLANE CRASHES!---
You've run out of time! Thankfully, the plane crashes into the field due to all of Logan's gravity tampering. Also, only Logan, Crustacian, and Tam will have to dodge the blast, since Neos and Sorrow bailed.
[1+2=3] Crustacian weathers the blast fairly well, due to his braced position, but got a cut on his right arm due to a awry piece of metal.
[5-2=3] Being on a plane when it crashes is not a good idea. Tam, despite being on the wing when it crashed, took the crash fairly well but twisted his ankle when he tumbled from the wing.
[3] Logan, due to being back in the cargo bay when the plane hit, was pretty safe from the blast, but was however thrown off his feet and then slammed into a crate made of metal. He cut his left arm from a sharp point on the metal crate.

Upgrade power to manipulating gravity fields to affect only select objects (such as the plane but not a nearby heli), a.k.a. Selective Gravity-Field Manipulation (SGFM). The thing is that the range isn't unlimited (as it used to be, basically) but only up to 1 km.  :D
salvage anything around
You focus on your gravity and upgrade it to Selective Gravity Field Manipulation [SGFM] [2] You quickly glance around to see if you can salvage anything but fail to glean anything usable from a quick glance.

Keep resting on my way down to the ground.
[1] You rest on your way into the field, but when you touch down with your parachute you trip over your feet and smash your cheek into the ground. Your face is now bruised.

Turn 10

++++---++++

I hop for my life.
[2-2=0] You attempt to hop away from the plain crash with your twisted ankle. You fall and smash your leg against a stray rock. Your leg is now broken.

In a commanding voice, tell the injured people to STAY STIll, find rags etc, and straight pieces of rigid material with which to make bandages and splints
[2] You attempt to make the injured people stay still, but you can't manage to hold Tam before he hops off and smashes his leg against a rock. You do notice several straight metal bars, some random straight sticks, and ripped cloth from the beds, though.

Hear that, say "But 'tis only a flesh wound!" (I'm dizzy from the crash  ;)) and using my gravity and sheer will heal my arm. Oh, and ask Ahra/Crustacian and everyone else to get here into the cargo bay folr safety.
[1] You attempt to fix your arm using your gravity manipulation. Too late do you realize that it is a cut and not a break, and thus cannot be helped by the gravity manipulation. Your arm is violently dislocated by the force of gravity. The sudden pain prevents you from yelling to Crustacian.

well think healing thoughts and observe surrounding enviroment?
[4+1=5] You think healing thoughts and imagine your medi-kit, knowing that with it you will be completely fine. You enter a state of zen and stay like that for a few minutes before your eyes snap open and you find that you are completely healed. You then look out over the field you crashed in and see some blinking lights in the distance.

Concentrate to see if I can remember anything I didn't before.
[5] You concentrate to see if you can remember anything from your past. You remember nothing. Something else happens, however, and you experience a rushing feeling, like your moving forward... You suddenly see several helicopters take off from a helipad and start flying somewhere... after a while they reach a field. A field with a crashed plane on it. In the next minute, the helicopters open fire and the vision cuts out as you see several figures torn to shreds by the high-caliber rounds of the helicopters. When you return to reality, you feel as if you cannot breathe for a second, but then you can. Odd.

Turn 11

++++---++++

Scream in pain. With swearing.
[6] Rage and pain fill you to the brim and... AH FUCK MY LEG JESUS CHRIST AAAGHFGHF SHIT HOW THE FUCK IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE OH MY GOD I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS OH GOD WHY THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME ROCK! CURSE YOOUUUUUU! A few seconds after you yell this, the air in front of seems to twist and bend before stopping and the air a few feet away from you starts twisting and bending. Looks like you just created some kind of sound wave.

Scream in pain. While swearing and trying to "relocate" my arm and stop the bleeding.
[6] Hearing the example of Tams rage pushes you over the edge and... FUCKING SHIT MY ARM I CAN'T FEEL MY ARM OH MY GOD IT'S ALL FUCKING NUMB WHY THE FUCK DOES IT FEEL LIKE ITS NOT THERE FUCKING GOD DAMN RELOCATE DAMN YOU! SCREW YOU MODERN MEDICINE, SCIENCE, AND PHYSICS! I DON'T NEED YOUR SHIIAAAAAT... Your last words are drawn out as the sudden pain of your arm popping itself back into the socket and the large cut sealing itself surprise you. Looks like you have a lot of willpower.

Provide emergency 1st aid before we get moving, don't try anything fancy, sorrow is no doctor
[4] You glance at Logan but see he is fine. So you saunter over to Tam and take a glance at his leg. No way you could heal that... but maybe the twisted ankle... You look around on the ground and pick up a hard stick. You lay it against the ankle and attempt to set it or something, while ignoring Tams cries of pain. It seems to be a bit better now.

1st aid to the most injured guys and look what said lights are
[1] You walk over to Tam like a drunk man and look at his leg. Frowning, you look into your medi-kit and get a needle and... JAB IT INTO HIS LEG. You then look up and try to see what the lights were that you saw and... everything is dim.

Realizing that this is probably a premonition, I yell at everyone to flee to cover, grab Tam and high-tail it out of there.
[1] You start yelling at everyone to hide or get in cover, but all it seems to do is draw everyone out of the plane, into the field where you can plainly see everyone. God damnit.

To that effect, in case someone happens to die and I miss it, here I am (may be a tricky character to pull off, but hey):

Name:
Nikolai

Appearance:
Adult human male, below average height, stocky build. Neatly trimmed brown facial hair and small, sharp eyes. A relaxed disposition hides a strong intellect.

Skills:
+2 Academic: Mathematician - Supposedly his profession. May or may not ever come in handy.
+1 Contextual Sensitivity - The logical, analytical nature of his area of expertise prime him to have a critical eye for details of person, place, cause, effect, etc as may or may not apply in each case.

Mutation: Babelfisherman
Mid-to-full innate understanding of spoken foreign languages. Low-to-mid innate understanding of written foreign languages. No speaking or writing abilities in these languages. Concentration required, prone to cluster headaches and bouts of irrationality.

Turn 12

++++---++++

Grab Ahra and stare deeply into his eyes with mine. Look pissed off as well.
[1] You grab Crustacian weakly and stare into his eyes. Somehow, you fail to look pissed off and you feel like your mesmerized... you suddenly kiss Crustacian on the lips. He pushes you back with disgust and you fall onto the ground, banging your head.

"OK EVERYBODY MOVE! if you cant move get someone to help you, we need to get at least one of our group soem REAL meidcal attention, and i dont think we want to be here when those guys that shot at our planr come to make sure we are dead!Get everyone moving towards a settlement, assist injured in this endevour
[1] You attempt to yell at everyone to get a move on. You suddenly find that you have Lost your voice.

stare back and try again and carry him away from the lights if he cant stand oh and BTW WHY DO YOU NOT TRY TO HEAL YOURSELF????
[4+1=5] You look at Tam with some confusion in your face but then shrug it off and help heal him. You wrap gauze around his bleeding leg, put some handy ice-packs on his bruises, some ointment on his light burns, and you also get out some kind of insta-cast spray for his ankle, which secures it completely. You attempt to face him away from the lights, but you feel a little worn out from your sudden ER doctor mood.

watch out for anyone and make a sort of gravity shield that deflects projectiles. Try to salvage stuff from the plane.
Cut MRAC bracelet off, modify helmet, and examine SAC. (mouse over the underlined stuff in my status text)
[5] You make a small gravity field around yourself, just in case. You then skip on over to the crashed plane and see if you can salvage anything. You pick up 5x metal bars, 3x medium-sized metal plates, 3x metal tubes, 2x broken pistol parts, and 1x working, but disconnected, circuit-board thing. Then, staring at your MRAC bracelet, you cut it off with your handy dandy S.A.K. [3+3=6] Struck by a sudden inspiration, you pull off your helmet and get to work. You attach the metal plates on the sides and back of the helmet, and survey your work. It now seems to be Armored-Helmet [10 DIY skill gained! 10/45]. But you are, oddly, not satisfied. You feel you can do more with this helmet... Too involved with thinking of modified helmets, you forget to examine your S.A.K.

Flee for cover hoping the others follow, while in hi-speed mode. Also attempt to accelerate my healing with my mutation.
[1] You turn on your high-speed [2/3 to second upgrade!] and... abruptly fall onto the back of your head. Ouch. Also, your not sure HOW your supposed to accelerate your healing now, although it WOULD be useful for your aching head.
