I'm really struggling to find a reasonably priced source of good quality mylar.  UK is preferable, but I'm willing to buy from overseas if needs be.

Any suggestions?

What kind of mylar do you need? Sheets, strands, films?

small amounts can be acquired from the balloons florists often carry, cut carefully along the seems and reversed. This is good if you are trying to create a reflective surface.
