Title: What is the point of masks?
Post by: emissary666 on April 20, 2011, 10:31:03 am
I don't understand how masks work. Based on a comment in one of the updates, I've tried multiple Chaney masks, Nixon, Bush, Satan, Guy Fawkes, Jason, but I've seen no effect.

I wear a Guy Fawkes mask armed with a guitar and my slogan being "Information is free"
Guess who am I?
I believe masks are just cosmetic.
I never use disguise, just ninja my way through.
But considering that you cannot wear anything else with the mask, It may be because the character is using the mask to cover something else instead of his face.

Masks help with interrogation when the subject is on drugs.

Might be awesome if they hide your face

The thought of going around in a satan mask saying "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?" to people is one of the reasons.

If we ever put in a feature where conservatives (and even moderates) recognize you automatically if you have enough crimes on your list, it might be useful there. Although just stealthing by with a ninja suit makes it pointless I guess.

I would've thought being masked would probably set off alarm bells in itself.  Although it could make the crime harder to link back to you later, I guess.

I'd like to see committing a crime in a mask make it much harder to pin on you - I mean, how do they know who did it, right?
