This shouldn't be in forum games and roleplaying.
But this is how you do it.
First: Pick a image uploading site, imageshack or photobucket both work, as well as tons of others out there
Second: Upload it to the site
Third: Get the link they give you and post in on the forum between a [img] tag and a [/img] tag (without the italics).

leave the internet and return with a functioning brain

alternatively

use an image uploading site... many work, as lemon10 said, photobucket and imageshack, also bayimg and tinypic. Some will allow you to upload without an account but they usually delete the image after some time. Use the direct image link (that shows the image only, not the website with the image on it... if you're confused find the 'direct link' or just right click the image + view image.. it appears in the address bar)

forums use BBcode, so it's just
Code: [Select]
[img] [paste image link here] [/img] and preview your post to make sure you did it right. Use google for all this btw, google everything until you're a web ninja O_o

I assume you're talking about your image from Star Pixels.

One problem, that is important to fix first or there will be other problems, is that you're linking to the THUMBNAIL of the picture, NOT the picture itself.

Now, for the actual size problem: Is the image small before or after uploading?

Also, just a general comment on your posting habits: Use the edit button for god's sake. Double-posting or worse is very annoying, and only should happen if there's a large time gap (half a day or so) between your two posts. Otherwise: Use the edit button. Please.

oh the question right, i shrunk the picture from star pixels so i could get pixels the same size on the pic.

So... can't you just reverse the process afterwards if you shrunk it?

Ah. A common problem with resizing. Blurring of the images...

Try resizing with MS Paint. It doesn't have blurriness for me. Then again, I have Vista version of MS Paint. I have no idea how the Windows 7 one will work if you have it.

...*Sigh*... MS Paint is Microsoft Paint, or just Paint. It comes standard on every Windows computer. It does not need a download if you use a Windows computer.

                                        V
i avoid grammer when possible.....school i have to use it and i do and yes im english
I think he is just not very internet savvy. Okay, understatement, he doesnt have any savvy at all.

@Drago, I think you need to lurk moar. Watch how people write their posts and try to....get to know what you have on your computer. Not knowing what MS paint is, is just embarassing, as is not knowing what italics are. And start your sentences with a capital letter.

Not using grammar just because you hate it makes you sounds like my 7 year old brother, drago.

I agree with your saying of him not having any savvy, cerapa. You can learn a lot about what you have on your computer by looking through the entire start menu, drago. MSPaint is in Accessories, if you haven't found it already.

No, the laptop got everything deleted. And i will use grammar if you stop annoying me about it (When i remember.).

Doesn't matter if 'everything got deleted', you still have a Start Menu unless you're running OSX or Linux.

Well, you posted this in Forum Games. Most things here are in fact, forum games, or RTDs, or Mafia games. Or PnP games.

Yeh, this isn't the best place for such a discussion. here, I'll give you a quick tutorial on moving threads.

First, look at the bottom of the page for this (I took these images from one of my own threads):

Click on the button labelled "move thread" (or, alternatively, if you think you've had a sufficient answer, you can click "lock topic")
It will redirect you to this:
in the drop-down menu, look for a board that would be more appropriate. I would suggest "Life Advice".
Click "Move Topic".

I felt kinda bad for OP so I made a pictorial tutorial for uploading pictures   :)

First you need to navigate to one of the popular image sharing sites, for our example we shall be using img.ie
(note that I will be using thumbnails here, so you will need to click on them to get to the big versions of the images)
(http://img.ie/images/9c4ca_thumb.png) (http://img.ie/9c4ca.png.html)
Next we need to upload the image, in this case we click the browse button located in the center of the screen and use the interface that pops up to browse around the pc and select the image we want. We can do this as many times as we need to batch upload images.
The browse button:
(http://img.ie/images/96a09_thumb.png) (http://img.ie/96a09.png.html)
The picture selection interface:
(http://img.ie/images/176b0_thumb.png) (http://img.ie/176b0.png.html)

Once you have selected all your images to be uploaded you hit the upload button and it will move to the uploading step:
(http://img.ie/images/5b119_thumb.png) (http://img.ie/5b119.png.html)

Once you have finished uploading you will be taken to the sharing screen, where you will be given multiple links for the image. Each link serves a different purpose. The first is a direct link, this when enclosed in image tags, will cause the image to load in the page, like you see below. The next two are for linking thumbnails, which are scaled down versions of a photo you can click on to take you to a large version. This can be useful if you have big pictures or lots of them, to avoid wasting peoples bandwith. The thing you have to watch out for here is that one of these links is for embedding in html (the one marked as Thumbnail for website) and the other is for linking in forums. Both of these already have the image tags in place, so in this case you do not need to surround it with (http://tags. The third option is a link to img.ie for you to add in your post or profile or signature if you wanted to promote img.ie. The last two options are similar to the thumbnail one in that they do the same thing, however in this case the images are reproduced in full size! The sharing screen:[URL=http://img.ie/1a827.png.html][IMG]http://img.ie/images/1a827_thumb.png)[/URL]

Enjoy
