Au contraire. I'm pretty certain I know my wincon, and reasonably sure how to achieve it after lat night. Actually doing so is another matter entirely, however.

Tell meeeeee? <333

Paraphrasing, naturally. I must find my true love before the meteor hits. I have a love spell that can either be interrupted or works only on said true love, who must be female. I used it last night, but was interrupted by "a noise", and the spell failed. Notably, in the interest of full disclosure, I targeted RangerCado last night. I suspect the noise that spoiled my spell was mastahcheese's snooping, so I don't know exactly what that means with regards to my spell.

My role statement strongly implies, as well, that the meteor cannot be stopped. Take that for what it's worth, about 3cents, I'll warrant.

Want with one hand, catch raindrops with the other, tell me which fills up faster.

I have no idea what's going on, little energy to devote to caring, and even less time to give to figuring it out. My night action failed, too, which means I apparently need to go back to Spell Casting 101.

So, there.

Pretty much. None of us know our wincons so any scumhunting is useless. I'm just gonna sit pretty and wait for the meteor.

Toaster, I said several times D1 that I felt alignment was a red herring. I'm willing to lynch RangerCado to see if the meteor summoner thing amounts to anything.

It's Midas's crown, which has nothing to do with King Midas, somehow. I passed it to her, because why not?
I'd prefer a more detailed answer than y not, sir.
Especially what you've got to say as an opinion. Like, my query back there, thanks.

Can I has book? :3 We can trade items. You get this shiny, concentric, Archimedian bauble. :D
Tiruin: What is your interest in the book, if you don't even know what it does?
And what is this bauble you speak of?
It is a bauble of mythological description, mentioned and created in the lands between the Black and the Mediterranean sea, much as how ancient historians speak of.
It allows me to vote twice! :O

Also, I died because I hid behind Tiruin N1, and so got seriously annoyed when everyone decided I hid behind ZU as it showed that no one properly read the Hider role info.

You kept saying this in dead chat as well.

The Hider dies if he hides behind scum OR if he hides behind someone that gets killed at night. Assuming you hid behind zu, with no other killer in evidence, was the simplest logical explanation. Now, had Toaster told us our night kill had failed because he'd properly recorded Pufferfish's night action, I would have had proof there was another killer, but there still wouldn't have been anything to suggest you hid anywhere but behind the night kill. Since, you know, you didn't make your planned announcement about Tiruin.

Here's where I blew it, and how we'd have a scum win if I'd played it differently.

Quote
Night 3 destroyed our chances. I played too cautiously.

If I'd gone bold, I'd have taken the chance on sacrificing EP, and done the Strongman kill on ToonyMan. Assume TM follows through, EP dies, TM dies as well, and it's SBC, NF, scientist and me. Scientist claims TM block, I counter-claim Tracker, say I followed scientist and saw him target TM, scientist gets lynched, flips Town. I kill anyone, we win.

If TM didn't follow through, it doesn't even have to pretend to go to night phase.

First rule of scum play, which I always forget: everyone is ultimately expendable.

Excellent game, lots of fun. NF, you really pulled through at the end there.

Finally! A Vig that did some good for the Town! Even if it was partly by accident/guesswork :P

You, sir, are hilarious!!

Yes, yes, I'm fantastic.

I can't shake the feeling that you're lurking.

Sure you can. All you have to do is try.

Real life has gobbled me up.

I don't like this RVS question after RVS ended.
Do you earnestly believe there's enough material on the floor to make informed decisions about who is scum and why? If so- who do you think is scum, and why?
As I was told before, RVS ends when people start getting suspicions. And that asking random questions after there's a sizable amount of content is created seems to be lazy. Asking random questions is "lazy" because you should be asking questions to people who have done something not-to-par. We don't have enough material for pinning the scum tag on anyone, however pinning the "watch this guy" tag is definitely possible.

I rather do like the question, actually. Having caught up a bit, I'll answer it.

In the event I were scum and King for the day, I would execute Jim Groovester, presuming he's not scum of course.

Why?

Because he's a dangerous player, from what I've seen. Priority as scum, in the absence of knowledge of power roles, must be to eliminate those most likely to ferret out scum.

And that's why I'm a tad troubled by Cheetar's decision to eliminate Jim today, as I'm not seeing the reason for it that he is. That warrants questioning and suspicion.

Forgive me if you've already answered this, Cheetar, I'm answering questions as I hit them, but can you please detail your case against Jim?

Jeeze. Get called away for a day and suddenly I'm scum?

I'm curious what prompts the sudden change of heart? NF has hardly posted all game, SBC has tunneled several times (and don't tell me it's okay because TDS and Tiruin turned out anti-town)...

Bah... Kill me then, lose the game, and please, don't explain why.

Apologies. I've had very little time this weekend, big things happening in real life, and my attention has been focused on Limerick since we're in the end-game there.

I'll get into here soon as I can.

Definitely Extend. We don't have a second chance at this, even with a Vig and a Jailkeeper.

Yeah, that was more hopeful than anything else. After Tiruin's SK flip, I'm a little jumpy, I think, and overthinking things.

Ah, yeah. I hadn't consciously thought of it from that angle, but I totally agree. Alignment has to be separate from flavor, I think, else any flavor reveal would be an instant scum-out.

E is earlier in the alphabet than N

You're kidding, right?

Dude. That's not even flipping a coin random. That's not even trying. Seriously? A random vote, utterly random, at MyLo?

NativeForeigner - "I agree with Makeinu, Scientist is really suspicious!"  I don't think Makeinu is scum, but I find his suspicions of Scientist as completely paranoid since it's only possible if one of the four vanilla townies is hiding their role for no reason whatsoever.  I will not allow a Scientist lynch.  I'm guessing NF's other suspect he's concealing might be me, since outside parties might think that Scientist and I are both lying in the most cleverest ploy ever, but sadly, this is not possible.

Paranoid I might be, that I won't deny. However, I can think of a reason why a town power role might conceal himself still: if they exist, they know scientist is likely scum, or ToonyMan is, and by concealing that as a known, they stand a better chance of ferreting out the partner. If the scum-hunt turns solely on scientist, then the partner can stay hidden, and we have to start from scratch tomorrow.

Mind, I'm not saying that is what's happening, but it makes sense to me as a possibility, and it helps explain why scum didn't kill a known power role, a dangerous one or them, last night, instead apparently targeting the other.

As to what targeting you last night means, I don't know, but it veers wildly into WIFOM territory if I start considering what it means regarding EP. Like, I can't even comprehend what they may have been thinking.

So, all things considered, I won't rule out scientist as scum as a possibility. Sometimes numbers do lie, if you don't know all the variables.

If we assume scum wouldn't bus at this point, which is logical, and with no solid case in any event, we can make some guesses.
