Whenever I start a new fort, I like to name the first seven, usually using some dwarven name generator.

In my current fort, I chose the name 'Lavaminer' for one of my starting miners. He became legendary among his peers.

One day, 'Lavaminer' Asmelethab was digging deep underground when he came across a wall that felt suspiciously warm.

As he was about to turn around and head back up he heard a cryptic voice in his head: "(d)-(d)".

Shortly after, a craftsdwarf heard an equally cryptic voice: "alt+s"

Been having the same problem as well. Strangely, it mostly happens when I try to build long sections of wall in the open outside.

I believe DFhack can be used to fix the broken Elven diplomacy.

Is the door under the X? The Wiki page about building destroyers mentions that they can't destroy stuff that is diagonally to them. Though, I've never confirmed this myself.

I'm fairly sure FBs break locked doors.

EDIT: Wiki says: "Building destroyers cannot destroy closed floodgates or locked doors from a ramp leading up to the level of those buildings unless there is an open path to the same level."
