Found a few other things.

-There is a duplicate object called ZM_TORCH_SHAPE in descriptor_shapes_ex.txt.  I'm not sure if that would cause any issues

-A few creatures have solid white color tokens and some others that are pretty close to solid white with really high values . You can find them by searching [COLOR:192:192:192] Intentional?

-Need to follow up on the [RODENT MAN] to [RODENT_MAN] change and also change those tokens in entity_default.txt to match the correction. There are references in [ENTITY:EVIL] [ENTITY:SKULKING] and [ENTITY:SUBTERRANEAN_ANIMAL_PEOPLES]

I'll keep you updated if I find anything else.

Really enjoying the extra additions that don't seem out of place at all. Amazing job!

I came across a double : in the CASTE_NAME token in creature_surface_ex.txt that was causing Short Horses to show up with the "nothing" label.

Figured you would want to know for future updates. Is this the right place to let you know about them as I come across things?

Very awesome. I was looking for a more modern alternative to Announcement window and this does perfect. The planned resizable features will be welcome. Is there a way to have it remember the location of the gamelog.txt file instead of having to point to it each time its run?

I just updated the develop branch to point to the latest df-structures commit, so ensuring that you have the latest develop branch (of DFHack) and running "git submodule update" should get you a working df-structures. Thanks to sv-esk, the offsets should be complete on all three platforms, so DFHack should at least start up normally, although I haven't tested anything on Linux yet. OS X definitely works, though.

Confirming, works on Windows :)

Awesome :D I'm glad you decided to go with the more clean version. I agree, it does fit in much better with your style!

I had a go at perfect world last night and came up with something kinda cool. Had a lot of fun playing with it.

The temperature gets colder the further you go out from the middle and the savagery gets worse as you go out. You may want to edit some of the worldgen prams in game as I turned cavern layers down to 1 and history to 150.

Is this safe across versions? 0.42.06 for example. Have the the stone raws changed?

Edit: Nevermind. I didn't think it was as easy as just removing [AQUIFER] from the raws heh.

I'm getting a lot of random crashes with the 0.42.05 r1. I'm using the version of DFHack that was included in this release. I wish I could look into what is causing it more but log files are lacking. I've yet to be able to reproduce it. As far as I know right now its when I am moving the camera around.

Also worth noting, I have 'multilevel 0' as it helps with fps

That happens to me quite often.

But I assume it's normal. Simply, your developing world isn't THAT interesting.

Ah I see that large 1500 year worldgen is truly paying off right now lol...

This is the message I get most years, and every now and then there is a report of bunch of places being founded and invaded.
It has to do with the world troop movements and other stuff that you don't see happening.

I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the race and home location of the trader also? I am on an embark off the coast on an island with maybe 2 other towns

I've been getting this message from the trader the past 3 years for some reason. Any idea why im not getting any information? Tried a new game and its still the same.
