Also, both Rose and Jade have handled LE eggs.  (Remember when Doc Scratch called them seeds?)

Thorium.

Use fucking thorium.

The technology for nuclear waste free reactors has been around since the goddamn sixties at least.  The US has an incredibly massive amount of the stuff.  NASA has had the plans for thorium lifters for at least a decade.

Look that up.

Stop reading homestuck right this second and go look it up.

You do realize it was Merry, not Eowyn, who struck down the Witch-King, right?

No, it was Eowyn who killed him, when Merry stabbed him was enough of a distraction to let her get the killing blow. Also, someone might want to mention the paralysis effect that happens to anyone who stabs Angmmar.

It's slower because there's more stuff underground.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the default (pocket small medium large) gen settings, each setting has a greater number of layers between different underground features.  So, a large world would have more Z levels of rock taking up valuable memory real estate, making your fortress run slower if you have less than maybe 1.5 gigs of RAM.

I've got about 4 planters that should be ready to go son to replant the one tree I cut down, seeing as we are being griefed, should I just plant them somewhere else instead of the town forest?

A few newbie questions, how do I plant something other than grass?
Is there a clay pit near by? I'd like to start making clay objects for a change of pace.
Also, how can I join the town?

I'm somewhat embarrassed to mention this, but I feel that it may be somewhat necessary to somewhat remove some of the somewhats, as they somewhat clutter up the appearance paragraph in a way that is somewhat annoying to those of us who somewhat dislike seeing the same word somewhat frequently.
I can somewhat see the purpose of all the qualifiers, but diversifying somewhat may help to breakup the repetition somewhat.

Somewhat sorry for making this somewhat sarcastic post.

Applied as Anfold for the guild, is there anyway to target stat growth?

To those of you having problems with framerate:

INSIDE THE DOSBOX CONFIG FILE
Set the mem size to 32 and the cpu to dynamic, change the display method from surface to pretty much anything else if you have a video card released any time after 2004.

To those of you with bad sound: (like Aquizzar)

USING THE SETUP COMMAND IN DOSBOX
Put the sound effects to Soudblaster and the MIDI effects to MPU-401.

Also, you might want to and the -noconsole switch to the Dosbox shortcut and turn on full-screen option in the config file.

Doing these things will let DOSbox auto adjust CPU cycles and prevent problems like pallet swapping (screwed up colors) and frequent stuttering.

Required Files: You're going to want the DFQFIX and PATCH213 files from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files . These will make the game more stable and fix the bugged quests where you lose rep or the Target fails to spawn.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As for Daggerfall vs Morrowind arguments, Daggerfall is the last great commercially developed rougelike, expect all the frustrations, limitations, and general fucking weirdness of the genre.

Oblivion vs Morrowind, think making money vs making a game you love.
