DF Modding / Using DFHack to edit site types: is it possible?

Hello there,

Supposing that I have enough coding experience to write either C++ plugins and Lua scripts. Does DFHack have access to the hardcoded data structures that define site types such as CITY, FORTRESS and so on? Could it be possible to edit them somehow or at least know where they are? The difficulty of such a thing is something else - I'm talking about the viability of the concept. What do y'all think about this?

I'm eager to read your toughts on this matter.

Hello everyone!

When modding a new clothing item for my custom race, I get this error in the errorlog:

*** Error(s) finalizing the entity DEATHERS
Unrecognized entity pants token: ITEM_SHIYYID_PANTS

I can't for the life of me find out what tf is wrong with my raws! Aaargh I've checked for open brackets, name mismatches... Please, help me out. I'll attach both entity and item raws (My browser won't show me the attachment options for some reason? Sorry about that. Here's the text though)

Hi, I'm making a race of sentient penguins called tukis. I have everything set up, but when I try to play with them in Fortress mode I encounter two problems:

1. They have [NATURAL_SKILL:FISH], so the first thing they try to do is fishing in the river, but I get spammed with "Unit cancels fishing: too injured" and I have no idea of the cause.

2. They won't do any job I command them to do, even if they have the skill. Dwarf Therapist doesn't help either.

These are the creature and entity raws, I've searched for everything. What can it be?

I haven't got a lot of time to read it all, but for what I see they only talk about renaming the game's text and, by extension, labors. But I don't understand how can I use this to re-purpose labors. Also, thank you for the link, it's really useful for future projects!

Hello! I asked on the DF subreddit about how to make custom labors and assign them on the entity file. One user told me it was not possible to do this but that I could re-name and re-purpose the existent ones. Is this true? How can I do it?

undefined local creature material set to default: TUKY HAIR

I've removed the hair to use feathers instead. Here you have the creature file:

Hey! I found out it was [OBJECT:CREATURE], not [OBJECT_CREATURE]!! This solved the unrecognized creature issue, but now I have to handle others regarding my bad modding skills. Thank you for your time!

You're missing an end bracket on EQUIPMENT_IMPROVEMENTS, which is going to cause problems.

I have corrected it and it does nothing. I've also noticed another missing bracket at SUBSELECT_SYMBOL:WAR:PEACE, but again, nothing.

I've revised again all the end brackets one by one and no one seems to be missing, but I could be wrong.

Hello! I'm basically creating a humanoid penguin race, but it won't appear when generating a new world. I looked into the errorlog file and it shows this:

They're called the tuky race. I can take care of the "Unrecognized symbol" error, but what bugs me it's the "Unrecognized entity creature token". It's been hours and I can't find the issue! The creature raw file is alright (I guess, because there aren't any errors regarding that file), but I can post it if you need it. Here you have the entity file.
