Okay, after finally rereading this.. I'm not sure what Lucas can do, admittedly, since I sort of missed the last time this got restarted. I'm guessing he's confined to the lounge like most of the other passengers?
Assuming that..

Lucas listens to the Captain's argument with half an ear - and then with four times as many when he shouts something about the Inquisition.
Well. That's hardly something to ignore.
Lucas tries to eavesdrop on the Captain and Inquisitor's conversation without being too obvious about it.
Lucas also looks himself over.. he does have his pistol, doesn't he? How concealed is it?

I'm gonna give a firm "meh" to the recorders. They ain't dangerous so let's not bother with them any more.

I concur with this.

Examine the flutes better: (0)
Experiment IV: (1) Quarque
Burn the Phase: (2) Kashyyk, The_Two_Eternities

True Goal
Secure:
Contain: (3) Quarque, Kashyyk, The_Two_Eternities
Protect:
Dominate: (1) Egan

And I'm voting for "Contain" because this quote sounds like an interesting mindset to operate with: "The faster something can be written off as harmless and priorities directed to the next anomaly, the better."
(Plus, we might get some !!FUN!! cascading containment breaches.)

The G-Men: (2) ConscriptFive, The_Two_Eternities
The Assessors: (1) NUKE9.13
special agent Charlie: (1) Quarque

Style bonus
A. Lone Wolves: (1) Quarque
B. Small Unit Tactics: (0)
C. Area Control Doctrine: (1) The_Two_Eternities

Reasoning:
Special Agent Charlie seems.. more like a Turn 2 or 3 unit; I think the others are better at covering the basics.
And The G-Men seem like the most basic, to me. Although honestly, I could probably be convinced to vote for any of them.
(note: I didn't add Judicious Application of Marines or Response Team "Charlie Foxtrot" to the vote box because Kashyyk didn't explicitly vote for them.)

As for the style bonus:
I like goons. What can I say.

"Woyer" Comprehensive Protective Equipment
Our mall cops security personnel and hypothetical field teams currently are currently lacking any real protection.
The Woyer project fills this gap. At its most basic, this includes a plate carrier with XSAPI and XSBI plates, the IHPS Helmet, as well as a outer body protection similar to that salvaged from the TALOS suit. Beneath this is worn basic NBC protection, including a good quality gasmask. Finally, We've got our hands on that proprietary mount for comtac headsets, which are a necessity for our operators to operate operationally.

definitely a completely serious proposal

I have a strange feeling that this is a reference to an Arms Race which I am not familiar with.

Bonus
A. Grupo ACS (Facility Actions +1): (5) Quarque, NUKE9.13, Kashyyk, VermilionSkies, Powder Miner
B. Black Market (Equipment Actions +1): (0)
C. US Army Quartermaster Corps (Action Actions +1): (1) The_Two_Eternities
D. Umbrella Pharmaceuticals (Research Actions +1): (3) ConscriptFive, Egan, Doomblade

I think the basics are important. Like, the absolute basics.
As for the bonus vote.. I can see the arguments against this, but I want to specialize in Action to at least some extent.
We already get rerolls in the action phase
Sorry, I might've phrased that unclearly. I want to double-specialize in Action.

My intuition is never wrong! Watch as I deduce the purpose of this red-suited person! Red is the color of a tomato! The 't' in 'tomato' looks like a cross! But there are two of them, so it's a double cross! A double cross is a betrayal! A betrayal is when your ally fires upon you! Fires.. fire.. they want to burn something down! Something like a school! The fiend! If they're willing to burn down a school, who knows what else they might burn down?! Maybe even a laboratory! Or maybe the laboratory is inside the school! They must be stopped!

I try to set up an ambush for them. But not an ambush from the front, they'd be expecting that. An ambush from behind! ..That is to say, I trail behind them, looking for a position with good cover and a good line of fire relative to them.
..But since they might be too clever to go near positions like that, Plan B is for me to just start shooting at them fifteen minutes in or whenever they see me, whichever comes first.

I've completely forgotten what my strategy was. Luckily, I don't think I had one in the first place.

More psychology research! It's currently a soft science, so contradictions are to be expected, but there should still be consistent patterns.

Name: Lyn Marness
Idea: Noospherics. The noosphere (a term originating in the 1920s) is the sum total of all current human thought. However, the term was originally used in a purely abstract manner, similarly to Plato's Realm of Forms. The breakthrough which makes noospherics into a science is the invention of machines that are in and of themselves able to affect the noosphere.

Find a library and start researching psychology.

"DON'T GO HERE!"? I am a genetical engineeringer! I heed none of God's warnings, and certainly none of man's! Head south to Remerton and look for a geneticalic engineeringering laboratory there. There's a saying in Georgia - I know it's in Washington, probably in Georgia - that says "tools before test subjects".

I should probably use text to mark which of you is where so I don't forget.
That would be helpful.

Hold the line! Hold the line! And also try to advance, but above all try to keep the front line from routing. This "not-retreating" tactic will hopefully work if we continue with it.
