Hmm, okay, thank you for your help! I'll probably figure out how to deal with pywal, but as that isn't related to df, I'll leave this here

2
(I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate place to ask this, so let me know if I should move this somewhere else)

When I run df in text mode it uses the colors for my terminal (set by pywal), and not colors from the init file. Is there a way to change this? For some background I'm running Manjaro i3.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

What file should be loaded to see the "Oversized" view?

5
Same as troycall, I'm getting the error for chrome as well as for a browser called Min (which is built on chromium). It does works on Edge. All of this is on locahost.

6
Cool, I'll try that out!

7
Hey Warmist, is this still being developed? Though even if it's not, what would I have to do to check it out? This looks super cool!

AutoDF is a script which will download df, dfhack, twbt, as well as some graphics and colors (NOTE: only works for windows).
It automatically organizes everything based on the user input for the graphics and color, and should make the often tedious process of getting all of the common utilities set up properly way quicker.

It is a batch file, so your computer might freek out about running it, but just ignore it. Obviously you can also just check the program (which should be commented soon!) if you want to.

Just let me know if you find any bugs, have any suggestions, or anything else!

AutoDF: Download, compatible with DF, DFHack, & TWBT 0.47.04-r1

Features
  • 3 graphics: Wanderlust (from Kynsmer), Vettlingr's tileset (from vettlingr), and Phoebus (from Phoebus)
  • 11 colors: cla, CowThingDark, dawnbringer, elementary, feilds, ironhand, leesColorSchemeV2, solarized, cheridBone, cheridNatural, and windows10
  • Automatically organizes and edits necessary files and folers
  • Relatively painless!
  • Pretty simple batch program powered by only a small amount of dark magic

How to Run
  • Install the .bat file
  • Place the file where you want to install the df folder
  • Run the file
  • It will ask for prompts for graphics and colors, just type in your choice
  • When it's finished it'll run df, and should be good to go

Dependencies

Bugs
  • None found so far!

Planned features
  • Retry if user misspells graphics or color choice
  • More graphics! (let me know what you'd want me to add)
  • Linux and MacOS compatibility
  • Commented code for better readability
  • Maybe a git repo???

I'm using wanderlust with graphics and twbt, but the trees don't seem to appear. I've tried disabling twbt and graphics individually, and neither make a difference, so... I guess it might be with wanderlust? Does anyone know if this is an issue with twbt or wanderlust? Thanks for the help!
Never mind, I realized that wanderlust has special definitions of the tree tiles in its d_init.txt

Updated! I keep getting a `Connection error`, but I'm not sure if that's just me, so let me know how it's working for you

Oh hey flabort!

I think it would be fun to assign four players each 1/4 of the total dwarves once you get to a certain number, and then have each player set up a base in each corner. They couldn't fight against each other, but they could see how long each bastion lasts!

Aw yeah, now you can select your desired graphics and color set in the command line  8)

It is the log from when it crashed, and as far as I can tell config.js (which I assume is the config file it's talking about) is in the correct place:
Code: [Select]
df\hack\www\config.js
[edit]
The log shows the same error when it does succeed, so it probably is in the wrong place...
That's weird though, because it doesn't seem like it should be anywhere else

[edit 2]
Ah, the dfplex.txt file is described as the config file, so maybe it's supposed to be somewhere else? It's currently in data\init

14
Weird. Does it happen without dfplex? Is there anything at the bottom of stderr.log?
It does not happen without dfplex, and this is stderr.log:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

15
When does it crash? On startup?
Yes, it crashes on startup

Are you using any other plugins, particularly TWBT?
No, there are no other plugins

By "resize the window" are you talking about resizing it on the host or in a browser?
I mean resizing it in the browser
