Plump helmet men should sometimes spawn in farm plots when farmers are harvesting, they should also have switchblades large daggers when they spawn so they can stab the unsuspecting farmers.
Plump helmet men should be able to make pipe bombs.

Add !!Shapeshifting!! masters of darkness who unleash unspeakable :EVIL:
They should also be unkillable unless you use a one of a kind magic sword, and they should be able to teleport you into the future.
This can restart worldgen, you don't get a stop button, it stops at a random amount that can be anything between the starting point and 2^32-1 years.

If spotted by a dwarf, the dwarf will laugh so hard all sleeping creatures on the map experience noise equivalent to 50 tiles being mined at once and the dwarf risks death by suffocation if low endurance.

Yeah, "starwars intro" doesn't seem like the worst way to introduce the world's story to the player. Provided that the game can figure out which snippets are interesting enough to show, at least. :v

DF is advertised with inane statements like "If you can reach level 3, you are legally skilled", along with a mobile game that is nothing like DF. In some ads, DF is advertised as a choose-your-own-adventure game, with situations like "If I betray my boss, I'll get killed!", along with the choices "Murder Boss" and "Seduce Boss".

New designation:  Dig without care.

This designation will cause miners to dig carelessly, with significantly higher chances of destroying ores and gems. 

In addition, there is also a significant chance that the miner(s) will accidentally mine out tiles that are adjacent (or at least “close”) to the designated tiles, but not actually designated.  The probability of this happening increases significantly if the tile is the only thing separating the fortress from magma, water, a forgotten beast or titan, hostile wildlife, werecreature, invader, or other existential threat to the fortress or it’s denizens.
Wet tile cancellations still apply to the actually designated tiles

Monarchs are now guaranteed to haunt a few random on-duty soldiers shortly after dying. They prioritize ones who are busy guarding burrows.

Half-ghosts can switch between ghostly and living at will.

They switch between ghost and living randomly while tantruming. If they're inside a wall when they become living, they get atomsmashed. If they're in a tile with a non-prone creature when it happens, both of them fuse into a single creature, usually resulting in death horrific chimeric entities a toad.

I found a surprisingly useful feature.

Roots of a tree can spawn twigs and fruits of the tree around them if there's space. You can in principle access fruit trees from below the tree, without putting a dwarf in danger or walling off the tree.
So can you like dig a massive pit just under the tree (while sparing the roots) that goes to your food stockpile to automate fruit picking for, say, cherries?

Human grand treasurers may arrive at your fort and negotiate trade agreements. Sometimes.
Trufax.  I have had it happen.  I don't know if this is mod-related because I had never had humans negotiate a trade agreement before.
I got it in an unmodded but bugged world. Seemingly random layer distribution (sedimentaries below gabbro), random crashes, unloadable save after something happened.
