Well, I guess Tumblr may actually be a more policed zone than twitter.
lol. lmao.

Tumblr is a deep abyss policed only by robots, where every inhabitant simply shouts into the blue abyss like a deep water fish with a little light on its head. The robot that identifies illicit materials often misidentifies it. Tumblr is a tidepond that occasionally gets blasted with a UV burst.

The loneliness bit is spot on though.

Come view the utter silence at the core of our own mortal existences.

That post is now your official political outlook, to be reposted at every convenient moment.

This is your legacy now.

It really grinds my gears how people act like truthfully describing hateful views is more offensive then actually having hateful views.
It grinds my gears how people assume you have hateful views if you display the slightest modicum of self preservation.

But apparently "I would feel safer if there was at least an attempt made at a background check before letting a person into my country" now means the same thing as "I want all those sand monkeys thrown in death camps" so I guess I'm literally Hitler.
Remember kids, only Hitler was ever racist in the history of the world, and if someone says that there are racist connotations to something you've said they believe you want to start WWII. There's absolutely no middle ground to someone calling you out on being racist. You're either a saint, or you are Hitler.

If only there were some kind of middle ground.

(At no fucking point in mainiac's history has he ever actually said the things you're saying he's said (that I've seen), and if you'd kindly source the posts you're talking about you can get me to back off on that front. He's a warhead of a poster, but goddamn, he's never said that. If you're reading that into what he's said, that says a whole lot more about how you think than it reflects on him.)

That's probably true, but I don't think there's any magical new options that have opened up because we've left the EU. We'd just be handing out money to businesses that could have been spent on other things.
Well... yeah? "Magical new option" meaning "doing things that are forbidden inside the EU".
Instead of being legally forbidden, they'd be politically forbidden. The international community has sway outside of the EU in what countries can and can't do before other governments start making their lives miserable for doing them. I mean, if you had a bunch of other countries willing to go to bat for you on the international stage (like the EU), or a really deep warchest (like the US) you could get away with doing them.

taxes/regulations
People do complain about the Union's red tape a great deal. If bypassing that isn't a goal of the brexit I'll be terribly confused.
And we've been explaining how the brexit is only going to add to the red tape. Um?

Here's an idea that might help bring business to England: In a sign of solidarity with other local markets they could join into a collective that would ease the burden of crossing so many borders. All of that red tape only really accomplishes making things harder on an economy than it needs to be. There would need to be a body that could make sure all the competing interests are protected, of course, and a common list of standards.

Oh.

Oh right.
To be fair that was the original thoughts of those who started the EU.
But EU regulations are now like a pile of spaghetti made of red tape.
Yes, but unless the UK is going to stop trading with the EU, it still needs to follow all of those regulations. I know this because Canada has to follow all EU trade regulations in order to trade with them, and this has already fucked over our seal fur industry. And as members, the UK was in a position to have a say in what those regulations might be.

So now the UK has to follow all EU trade regulations without drawing any of the benefits.

What they want, and the real world are two circles on a venn diagram that never touch.

Really? They seemed to be mashing against each other in an alley after that referendum.
Sorry, I wrote that in a confusing way for the poetry of the sentence. It's basically a fancy way of me saying what they want is a fantasy world where they get exactly the nation they want (a strong united UK independent of the EU, like Monkeyhead said) without there being any nasty political fallout between the now and the fantasy. Or, rather, all the nastiness to happen to other people.

Isn't it obvious? Now they have a scotland, northern ireland, and london referendum to win! If anything they have more work now! Independence for all of the things!

UKIP would be ideologically opposed to any break up of the UK. They would fight tooth and nail to not let Scotland go and to keep it out of the EU. They would fight to keep NI away from RoI. They would fight against London getting devolved status. They would fight against Wales, Cornwall, or any other part of the UK being anything other than part of good old Blighty.

This will be their job in the short to medium term future.

Is it not utterly hypocritical for UKIP to oppose the EU on the basis of self-determination, while rejecting self-determination for British people who don't want to be part of the UK?
Please give up the notion there's any logic to UKIP. Key promises they made to get Britain into this situation were disavowed the moment they touched reality. What they want, and the real world are two circles on a venn diagram that never touch.

I use the ignore feature of the Bay12 forums as a "I need to stop fighting with people here, I have a problem" feature, and it helps with my anger management.

Allow me to wave my middle fingers prominently at people who demand that I waste the precious little time I have in a day to actually be productive on my compulsive need to fight that I am trying to curb.

And to honest, it would probably keep my blood pressure lower if the ignore feature didn't have a handy, prominent way to unignore a specific post.

So what do you guys think is going to happen if Leave wins?
The Pound goes lower than the Canadian dollar, and I can start importing gear from Britain at a steal.

I think we can all agree that Loud Whispers should be exiled to the colonies if he can't use the goddamn Queen's English.

What kind of silly portmanteau can we give our vote for this? Hmm, Loud Whispers Exit becomes ... Lewexit? The Loud Exit? Remove Whispers?
