E:
Finding Clevos to be bought online does indeed seem hard, I'm having a bit more luck with Sagers, though.

E2:
Alright, there are quite some (good) sagers for sale on amazon, but most of them only have ~4 left in stock...

E3:

Alright, I'm looking at this right now (if they ship to Belgium, that is.)
It's about right at the edge of my budget, I can't go much further than this, but it does seem fairly beastly.

Shipping pushes it up to US$ 1 847.13 = 1 348.36 Euros, so hmmm...
I personally can't recall whether it's Clevo or Sager that's the original manufacturer. I think it's Clevo. Then Sager (?) buys them, installs stuff, and sells them, so that makes sense that you can't find Clevo stuff.
Although there are usually default configurations for Sager products they also sell custom models - it's why I went with them for my laptop - so I'm not surprised to hear they have limited stock.
Finally regarding shipping: since Sager is kind of a well known company, various other companies will sometimes buy them and sell them under a different name - e.g. in Canada, it's Reflex Notebook. You might be able to find a Belgium Sager reseller that would reduce the shipping costs.

That graphics card is maybe a bit wimpy for gaming. Although 760 (non-mobiles) are great, the mobile versions are pared down and don't compare. I'd suggest you check out a site like notebook check - http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-765M.92907.0.html - for relevant benchmarks.

Sager/Clevo would be my recommendation, although the challenge would be figuring out whether they have an appropriate reseller in your area.

Companies like Dell, Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, Lenovo, etc, will all sell gaming laptops of varying qualities as well. Pretty much any laptop you find today will have 4 gb of RAM. Gaming laptops will probably have a minimum of 8gb.

Right, If your a fan of Final Fantasy (Pre 12 or maybe even 10) GET Bravery Heart...

Get Bravery Heart!!!

Did you mean "Bravely Default"?

I've heard a lot of people say Bravely Default is most similar to Final Fantasy 5. (Then again, all the people I've heard that from love Final Fantasy 5. So take that as you will.) That's coming out in the US later this week, if I recall correctly.

Anyways, I'll always plug Monster Hunter - in this case Monster Hunter 3 U, and soon Monster Hunter 4 U - and will recommend-based-on-hearing-about-them things like Etrian Odyssey (if you like dungeon crawling), Rune Factory (RPG + Harvest Moon), Kid Icarus, and recommending purely because I like the series it's in, Phantasy Star Zero.

So, er, I kind of stopped playing not too long after I made this topic. I should probably edit the OP to contain more relevant information.

So, anyone want to have a go at writing a new OP for this thread? I'll edit it in myself, I haven't played in forever so I have no context of my own to really add though I may edit for grammar if necessary.

I've got a couple of cockatrice decks currently. They tend to be Modern or Commander though and I've so far only played with my skype/steam contacts. What were you intending on doing to organize it?

8
Oh, huh.

Yes, that's me.

Currently I'm looking for 1-2 new PCs that might want to join up with the current PCs and myself. I'm running the game exclusively on Skype now. Freeformschooler I already have you added and I finally heard back from Wwolin today so I'll chat with you when I see you again on there.
Send me a PM if you might be interested.

Tentative deadline: 1 week?

General Discussion / Re: I need a PC controller
« on: July 29, 2013, 09:10:59 pm »
The Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers seem to be fine, have good support with a lot of PC games (doubly so if it's a GFWL game like Dark Souls), seem to be pretty compatible with other things like emulators and joy2key.

The thing you want to watch for is that it has a USB connection, either wired or wireless. Without that I don't think it'll work as well.

I've got two extra Chivalry, and 2 more KSP, in addition to a Prison Architect, if anyone is interested. I need a Dead Island, a Bioshock, a Reus, a Skyrim, and a Torchlight II.

Also, happy dance on my first foil! Bioshock infinite!

I need a Chivalry and I can offer a Bioshock or a Skyrim for it, depending on what you need.

I also sent an invite to Burnt Pies, also for a Chivalry, intending to offer Football Manager.

(I also have 2 duplicate Borderlands 2 cards - Gaige - so if anyone needs those let me know)

Edit: My Name is Immaterial, I dunno what your steam username is, so if you are still interested in a bioshock or skyrim card add me (username on steam is same as here)

It looks like today's daily deals might've got leaked a day early, unless Steam is more than one day late on them - http://store.steampowered.com/news/11091/

For those who don't wanna click links, I've dumped them in a spoiler:

Ah, as of this post I've got an Axton at 17 that I'm using mainly with a different friend, a mechromancer at 20 and a Maya at 27 (nearing the end of the 1st campaign). My steam name is the same as my forum name.

Now that the server is mostly up I feel the need to offer the standard warning that:

Don't buy it unless it's on daily, flash, or community sale, the only exception being if it's the last day of the sale (July 22) in which case go hog wild. Otherwise you may feel gypped, unless you have money to burn, when it goes on sale for more later.

---

That said, I imagine Torchlight 2 will drop to 7.50 or lower during this sale. I already have it but I want to pick it up for a friend. If you want to be in on a group pack or something though and are willing to reimburse me let me know via PM or here.

Bastards... Endless space was the game I just bought at full price.

Why? It's been on sale several times now.

A better question is "Why? It's not even a particular good game."

(Says the guy who preordered it)

Also L4D2 at the same price from the weekend, Toki Tori 2, 8 hour community choices.

I got a glimpse during a brief period of loading, but only remember seeing Hotline Miami, Endless Space (Emperor edition), and something about Summer Getaway Trading cards being the metagame.
