Would be a lot fairer to have it use up bone, to be honest. That way you're actually sacrificing something instead of just vacuuming up rock.

I wonder if cave-ins work in adventure mode. I'd like to rig a gigantic tower to collapse via a pressure plate and trigger it in adventure mode.

Eating is fine, but having it rot or otherwise be destroyed will piss him off.

You could make a tiny, 2x2 or so, meeting+dining room and watch the social skills and marriages of your dwarves skyrocket. Toss an artifact in there to keep it legendary.

Dwarves prefer certain directions... I think it goes west east north south northwest southwest northeast southeast. If a dwarf can build from the west, he WILL build from the west... Even if it means trekking 500 squares across the map to engrave the wall from the other side.

No other non-forbidden ammo on the map. Gems are easy, I just select "encrust ammo with" and bam. The rest will be handled by sealing all the decorations in a locked room together with a craftsdwarf and a workshop. That way the only item he CAN engrave will be the stack.

Someone needs to make a stack of masterwork adamantine bolts encrusted, studded and decorated with every single material in the known DF universe. I think the item value might actually overflow.

This is actually a project of my current fortress. The hard part will be getting exotic materials like dragon leather and hydra bones  :)

Wow, those beds looks like they consume a shitload of energy.

Yeah, goddamn frameworks reducing the load on game producers and thereby cutting consumer costs! HOW DARE THEY! Every game should write its own damn graphics framework, hell, even its own operating system! I should be able to boot straight off the game disk, but they insist that I install this "Weendose" bloatware! FEH! TO HELL WITH THEM!

The latest 38c seed, Thadar Thran, is goddamn amazing.

Granted. The codes are engraved on the 500-ton lead block which just materialized five meters above your head.

I wish Spore would be released and be everything I want it to be.

I wouldn't call it an exploit. Dwarven cuisine is very complex, with exquisite dishes such as cold rum-and-wine soup with beer and a side order of ale. It's got everything a grown dwarf needs!

Fortification agates are just an agate sub-type, it's called that because the crystals resemble fortifications.

I've got a real problem with workshop clutter, especially in my seige workshop and my glassworker's. I've designated all kinds of stockpiles, including a stockpile just for seige engine parts and ammo, and I have approximately sixty dwarves with hauling tasks on, but they're just standing around not doing anything.

How do I get the shops uncluttered so work can progress?</STRONG>

Remove and re-construct them, this will scatter all items in the workshops on the floor.
