If you edit C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Dwarf Fortress\data\ini\announcements.txt and put :BOX at the end of one of the ATTACK thingies, that might be what you are looking for. I'm just not clear what is what.

Hi,

When creating stockpiles, sometimes I just want say 'weapons' 'armor' 'ammo' without going through the trouble of creating a custom stockpile. But there doesn't seem to be a way to click multiple of the predefined options. It would be handy if we could shift click them. There are probably other areas where this would be handy, but stockpiles are the one that come to mind. Shift and control clicking to select multiple items has been a thing in Windows and Mac for a loooong time so I would think it would be rather intuitive.
