Oh, man.  My first post on Bay12 in like...  4 or 5 months.  I can't believe anyone actually decided my tiles were good at all.  I can't remember how many replies I got when I posted them, but it definitely wasn't many.  Thanks for using them.

I'm pretty sure Dropbox could be a viable solution.  It's free and you get two gigs of space automatically.  If you refer someone or someone refers you, you get something like an extra 250mb.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't've.  I just did my own search, since I never really recalled anyone talking about this, and got nothing.  However, from personal experience, even modding the world_gen.txt file won't get you different world sizes.  You can't generate a 30x30 world, nor a 1024x1024 world.  Just those select few values that the game offers.  Not sure if anyone's ever hacked the .exe to change that though.

It's also listing a female dwarf as a father.  I think that's probably the weirdest thing, though I assume it's tied to the whole entity/megabeast mixup that can happen if you gen a world and then immediately play on it.

@Tirin: That is a bug.  Turns out lots of baby animals are misnamed as other animal young.

Is it possible that the game stores the tiles that have 4/7 water in an array of some sort to make it easier to tell if the tile's go or no-go for fish or land-only creatures and then just checks that?

Toady, will there be the option to export the new detailed combat logs?

I wouldn't mind making a parser for them and create something like an achievement system.

They reason they won't detect 40d is because you don't have the proper entries in their memory.ini files, or something to that effect.

Well, turns out it's not that.  Dwarf Therapist just seems to die about 2 in 3 times when I try to give a dwarf a custom profession.  If I restart both DF and DT I can usually fix the issue, but it's still annoying.  I'm not sure what exact steps you can take to reproduce the bug though...

It's a problem with how pathfinding works for members of your civilization.  I assume it'll get fixed whenever the issues with flying civilization members get fixed.
